BTech in Biotechnology from NIT Raipur and I'd suggest you take Biotech. Biotech here is really good. We don't have an exceptionally good laboratory but it is average. The important fact is that the faculty is really good and they go out of their way to help the students. They do extensive research before taking a class. The curriculum is good and once you start the course you'll realise that it is a very vast branch. So, choose wisely!
As far as the job opportunities are concerned, there is always the teaching line. Then there are drug manufacturing companies who have research labs where you can work.
