First of all... Congrats for clearing the premedical test, one of the huge burden as considered by many of the high school students nowadays! To be honest, ug college doesnt matter much in tn. Every college is equally good,of course if you are endeavoured among the top 10 medical colleges in tn. So in that sense, madurai medical college is something special in its heritage. Since madurai is considered to be the southern hotspot. ie, easily affordable place to people from various corners of the state, students perceiving their medical course here, will get an advantage to confront with a pretty no. of patients. And, a special mention to the campus. Such a peaceful and adorable environment one may enjoy sitting on the lap of nature.

Moreover, teaching here is good. You will have a good no. of professors and pgs who will assist you. Senior- junior relationship is something which mdmc is known for. Literally you will experience the parenthood from your senior sirs or mams, especially during university exams. Culturals and sports will be a part in the year. It is when you will actually realise the boon of a medical seat!!

Dear aspirant

Madras medical college is older college among these two. It has a very rich heritage and historical association to it. Clinical material is also of a higher quality and quantity among the 3 stated institutes as it happens to be the apex referral centre in south India. All of the departments run full-fledged and provide 24*7 service, which may not be available even in the best of private hospitals.

However, teaching quality and faculty remain nearly the same in all 3 institutes, as the same people are transferred among the institutes. Services offered are also similar in all 3 institutes.

So to answer this question, is Madurai Medical College.
