Hello,

Civil engineering and telecommunication engineering have their own importance and it depends upon your interest. While civil engineering has bit edge over telecommunication engineering because many skilled civil engineers are recruited in government sectors. Moreover if you got good college then placements will provide you further opportunities.

Both streams are best in there way and they both are different in nature also.

You cant compare them. It should depend on your interest because if you have interest in the field  then you can get success easily in the field.

in civil eng. you are going to study about the buildings and roads like things

but in telecommunication you are going to study about the communications

hopefully it will help you

all the best
