it all depends on your interest but Chemical Engineering at Jadhavpur University is a better choice since it is one ot the most top rank colleges in India.

You can also change your streams after getting good score in semester one.

It also depends on your choice. If you can compromise with your branch then I will suggest to go for jadavpur university with chemical engineering branch. That branch is not too bad but depends on many subjects like chemistry also. If you want a good branch Like CSE and ECE then you may opt for Kalyani engineering college as it is also a good college but not Better than jadavpur. You can also study Ece at Kalyani engineering college also. But I think jadavpur university will be a better choice as chemical is a good branch and you can change your branch after first year by scoring good Sgpa. Rest depends on you.
