Hello,

Hons isn't just exclusive to Maths only, if we specifically talk about BSc(Hons) then it's offered in many other subjects such as physics, chemistry, computer science, biochemistry, bioinformatics, microbiology, IT, electronics to name a few, the only difference between BSc(Hons) and simply BSc or BSc General is that the word Hons denotes the specialization as in mathematics hons you study the subject in detailed manner covering its various aspects which doesn't happen in simple BSc, so this Hons is applicable to any subject where you will study the subject in more depth, like the few subjects I aforementioned.
