Hi there,

First of all, just clear your mind from all the problems in taking admission local but I can help you with this context, As you have heard that taking admission in a local college is not suggested, the reason depends on two aspects

  • If your city doesn't have good colleges for building future or the placements and opportunities are not good or sometimes No.
  • You need to get exposure by living alone and independent and know how to live outside of the house away from parents so, you can explore your life.

But do understand if your city has good colleges with decent placement opportunities along with decent previous records and you have got a chance of admission then it is fine to study in local colleges as it will save extra fees like hostels, accommodations.

There are no such consequences an individual can feel if taken admission to local colleges it depends on different situations.

Another course that has good job opportunities and future is BCA, BBA+MBA etc.

Hope this helps
