Hi Neha,

With the advent of the ews quota,  10% seats will be reserved for the general category ews candidates. If an Institute decides to increase the number of seats and thereafter reserves 10% seats for general ews quota candidates then general non ews student will not be affected. However,  if 10% quota is provided from within the existing seats then obviously it is going to affect.
