Last year cut off for general candidates in Karnataka under state quota was 368 at Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences, Madikeri and under AIQ was 542 at Karwar medical college, karwar.
So going by previous years cut off you can expect to get a seat at 420. However keep in mind that cut off are subject to change.

With a score of 420 in the general category, you have chances of procuring a seat in the government medical colleges when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, a minimum score of 380 got a seat in the Raichur medical college, Raichur in the general category under the state quota. But, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats and state quotas.
