Hi aspirant!
Taking drop for neet is a common thing and many candidates have had to take gap of one or more years for cracking the exam. It will not affect your career apart from the one year extra and other resources you will have to invest for cracking the exam which is very common. It will not affect in the long run if you crack the neet exam and get mbbs seat and become a medical doctor after completing your mbbs and even masters and further specializations.
But be careful while taking any decision and consult your parents and be clear about taking a gap or not as it is a matter of your career, time, resources and other important things.
Goodluck!
