Presidency University, offers admission to various Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes through an Entrance Examination which will be conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB).
PUBDET 2019 is for admission to Undergraduate Courses whereas PUMDET 2019 is for admission to Post Graduate Courses. The university offers admission on the basis of Presidency University Engineering Entrance Test (PUEET), JEE Main, JEE Advanced, Karnataka CET, COMEDK UGET or any other State-level Engineering Entrance Examination. The cutoff for jee mains rank for Electronics and communication engineering is 54,004 closing rank in 2017.
