The Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme shall be applicable to all the sanctioned seats of the Engineering and Pharmacy Courses in the Government Colleges or Institutions and the aided Colleges or Institutions of the State,

All the sanctioned seats of the Engineering and Pharmacy Courses in the unaided Colleges or Institutions who have opted for granting admission under the TFW Scheme and have obtained approval of the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.

The supernumerary seats (TFW) not exceeding ten per cent. of the sanctioned intake of the college or institution shall be filled on the basis of merit of the candidate, the annual income of whose parents does not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs from all sources of income.
