550 is a good score where you can expect to get into good government colleges of your state. However, I believe it isn't enough to get you into the top medical colleges of the country but it 100% guarantees you a seat in MBBS.

Hi it depends on whether you have state quota and any.category reservation. But 550 plus is a good score and am sure you could get in to a decent govt college..good luck..

If you have score of 550+, marks in neet ug. Then you will have options of a mbbs seat in many of the good govt. medical Colleges through all india quota seat counselling under general category..

Looking at the stats of last year, a score above 570 is needed to grab a seat via All India 15% quota under GENERAL CATEGORY.
The cut off scores for other categories are comparatively lesser.
However, if you contest via the 85% state quota, there are chances that you might get a seat since you will be contesting only with the students of your native state.
Nonetheless, consider targeting a score above 570 to keep yourself on the safer side.

550 is a good score. Most likely, you can qualify for AFMC round 2 with it if you had applied for AFMC.
You have a chance to be called for BHU in round 3 or open counselling. Private colleges would be easily gettable with this score. However, top colleges like MAMC, CMC would not be possible to get if you belong to general category. Also, if you go through state quota, chances are more than that through all India 15% quota. Thus, I advise you to aim for a little more. 575 to 600 should be enough.
Also note that the cutoff marks vary each year.

550 is a really good score to get into any good government medical college. If you reside in Delhi, you are eligible for 85% delhi quota.

You can fill the online registration forms for maulana Azad and ipu ( vmmc and army college of medical sciences fall under ipu )
