with 94 percentile or 120 marks in jee main which govt colleges can i expect to get admission into with core branches being a female obc-ncl student from Jharkhand ?

Hi,

First of all Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is conducted for the admissions of undergraduate programmes in IITs,NITs,IIITs and other Central Technological Institutes by JoSAA. The exam is conducted in two parts- JEE main and Advanced. The students who qualifies both main and advanced are selected to IITs  and CTUs such as IIScs,IISERs and so on. Of you qualify JEE main then you are eligible for applying to NITs and some government colleges like :

1.Delhi technological university,Delhi

2.Institute of Chemical Technology,Mumbai

3.IIIT,Allahabad

4.Jamia Milia Islamia,Delhi

5. Guru Nanak Dev University,Punjab and so on

Some private institutions also accept JEE main score.

1.Lovely Professional University,Phagwara

2.M.A college of Engineering,Kerala

3.MIT,Pune

4.JECRC,Jaipur and so on

The cutoffs of the exams for each category will be published on the official website of JoSAA. If you qualify the exam with cutoff or more you can apply for admissions. Based on your percentile your rank for JEE 2020 would be probably in between 60-65k and the colleges for which you can go for with core/good branches are:-
1. University Institute of Engineering & Technology (ECE)
2. St. Francis Institute of Technology (IT)
3. Xavier Institute of Engineering, Mumbai(IT)
4. Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Engineering (CSE)
5. College of Engineering, Sinhagad(CSE)
6. KJ Somaiya institute of Engineering & Technology (ECE)
7. International Institute of Information Technology Pune(Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering)
