Amity University is a renowned brand and known all over the world and India but Amity's campus in Kolkata was set up in 2015 which makes it just a 5 year old institution. It is a mediocre choice. You can see if you can get into Amity University Noida Campus or some other institute in that matter.

For pursuing BA in Economics  Amity Kolkata would be a better choice considering the exposure you will be getting by studying in Amity University Kolkata campus would be far better than the kind of exposure you would get by studying at the Patna Campus. Kolkata would also offer you a lot of internship opportunities and a good learning environment. On the other hand there are other good colleges/universities which offer Bachelor's in economics to those candidates who did not had mathematics as a subject in class 12th. Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi- you will have to appear for the university's entrance test for getting admissions to its BA. Eco degree. Indraprastha University, Aligarh Muslim University, Banaras Hindu University.

Certainly not. There are other good colleges/universities which offer Bachelor's in economics to those candidates who did not had mathematics as a subject in class 12th. Yes it is quite obvious that it is studying BA in economics honours without having mathematics is quite difficult and may be impossible for you to take admission in Amity University in Patna. You will face many difficulties and may stuck in some of the cases during your course. So better you go for others dream or find some relevant colleges.
