Christ University , Bengaluru is the best option for BBA . Top ranked institution, Old legacy strong alumni network , decent placement, and expect a strong academic foundation from the place . So if you can make it to christ without any hesitation go for Christ..I will not suggest amity at all. Just look at the admission process of any college. By that you can judge how good a college is. Colleges like christ and symbiosis have very rigorous selection process and not all get through very easily. That means these colleges dont compromise on the quality of the students. Also unlike amity these college charge very less fees and invest in good faculties. Whereas amity is only known for its campus and literally nothing else. So to sum it all up, you can go to amity if you want to enjoy the campus by spending a large amount of money and getting no returns or you could go to christ symbiosis or ip university and enjoy along with getting a degree from a reputable college and a good placement. Your call.

Placements : Our college is new, and the first batch of the college has passed out in 2019. So, as far as I have heard, the students who have maintained their CGPs were selected by the companies. No core companies visit the college, but good private companies do visit our college. If you maintain your CGP and work hard, then definitely you will get a job. But as we all know, Amity is a well-known university, so definitely good companies visit.

Infrastructure : Amity is known for its infrastructure. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and the labs are well-equipped with modern machines. Amity library as we all know is among the known libraries of Kolkata. Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors, and they are air-conditioned. The seating facilities and all are also fine. There are also medical facilities available with ambulance facility. Our new building is under construction which will have all the possible games and support. We have a total of 3 canteens, out of which 2 serve pure vegetarian food, and the other one also serves vegetarian with egg. Hostel rooms are fine with air-conditioning and Wi-Fi facilities. Hostelers can have food from the canteen or outside. In short, the infrastructure is just amazing.

Faculty : All the faculty members are well-experienced with high qualifications of PhD and M.Tech in their courses. They are supportive, and students can also go to them for doubts after their classes. Parents can contact our mentors for our details, and PTMs are also held in every semester. Teaching quality is good, and the use of projectors in class is fine. On average, there are generally 40 students in a class. Workshops are available to students which will provide industry exposure, and regular lab sessions are also conducted. Seminars are held for providing information about the latest status of the market to the students.

Other : Amity is full of events, and you will never get bored in Amity as there is always some or the other event going on. So it's pretty good. Amity's fest, Amiphoria is well-known and is held in February every year, and well-known celebrities are invited to the fest. The crowd is good where a majority of students are Bengalis, and non-Bengali students are also there. All the students are supportive and nice in behaviour. Don't think that if you are a non-Bengali, you can't survive here; it's totally a misconception. Scholarships are also available depending upon your 12th class percentage. Extra curriculum activities are also available in college about which you will know slowly in your college life. Plenty of food is available outside the campus, and Swiggy and Zomato also deliver to the campus.

Dear Raj, Admission to Amity University B.Tech programs are based on the Amity Joint Entrance Examination (AmityJEE). Amity JEE is a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted by Pearson VUE (for Amity) and will be held in various cities across India. Admission will be made purely on merit, however, the candidate also needs to fulfill the minimum eligibility required for the program applied. In calculation of aggregate percentage, Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Vocational, Non Written subjects will not be considered. Candidates having compartment will not be offered admission. Schedule the exam through Amity Admission microsite. Print out of the Admit card received through e-mail from PearsonVUE or same can be obtained from the Microsite is required to be carried at the test centre along with one government issued ID proof in original – Driving License / Aadhar Card. Students Who take dates and do not show up, will be charged Rs.750/- for getting another date. Rescheduling will be allowed only ONCE and up to 48 hours prior to the test. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A pass in 10+2 ( class XII ) or its equivalent securing an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with not less than 55% marks in each of these three subjects. ( OR ) A three year Diploma in Engineering with minimum 60% marks, awarded by any State Board of Technical Education.

ADMISSION

For B.Tech admission, students are shortlisted on the basis of marks secured in Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) conducted by the Amrita University.

Admission to BA & MA in Communication and PG Diploma in Journalism (PGDJ) is done on the basis of CAP TEST followed by GD/PI.

Selection to M.Tech is done on the basis of GATE score or AGET conducted by the university.

Amrita University offers B.Tech program in eight specializations in full-time mode. Admission is offered on the basis of a valid score in Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) followed by counselling for the selected candidates. Minimum eligibility for B.Tech is 10+2 with minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects and minimum 55% marks in the individual subject.

AEEE is a 2 ½ hours paper with 100 MCQs. Each correct answer will fetch three marks while an incorrect response will lead to the deduction of one mark from the total score.

IN IPU 

IP University offers full-time B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharm and BHMCT courses at UG level in various disciplines. B.Tech is also offered in Dual Degree and Lateral Entry modes. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for these IP University courses is 10+2 in the appropriate subject group from a recognized board. From 2019, admission in B.Tech and B.Pharm done on JEE Main Score. Admission for BHMCT is done on NCHMCT JEE Score. Students have to qualify in NATA to secure admission in B.Arch program.

Those candidates who have passed Diploma in Architecture are not eligible to apply for B.Tech (LE).

85% seats in B.Tech and B.Arch programs are reserved for those candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from the school/ institute located in NCT region of Delhi.

15% seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to outside Delhi.

In case of Self Financing Colleges/Institutes (Under IP university) except for Minority Institutions), total sanctioned intake includes 10% seats under Management Quota
