Hi,
Yes you get an admission in Amity as amity doesnt require entrance if u get above 80% .... because my freind pursuing bsc biotech from amity only and she got 86 %  and got admission without entrance exam.
You may also go through the amity university website for further details.
Hope this helps

Amity Schoolof Engineering was established with the focus to nurture the talent in various streams of Engineering. The fees are high unless you are filthy rich this shouldn’t concern you. But doing Btech from private university is step down when compared to doing Btech from NITs,IITs etc. But if you’re going for private than Amity is ranked no.1 in private university. It is thumbs up (Y).

The negatives of amity is lesser exposure to applications and the faculty could be better.

AMITY IS NO WAY A FAKE UNIVERSITY! It is recognized under the UGC, and its degrees hold good stead! So please do not have any doubts regarding the University's credentials.

the engineering course, in my opinion is more theoretical, rather than being more application oriented. Saying that, classes are regular, exams are conducted in an orderly manner and the faculty is fairly decent, who would probably do a decent job of getting the engineering concepts in place.

* Following are the rankings of Amity :

- Amity University has been ranked the no. 1 Pvt. University(Source : Education Times)

- Amity Institute of Biotechnology has been ranked the no. 1 Pvt. Biotech institute 3 years in a row (Source : Biospectrum Magazine)

- Amity School of Engineering has been ranked no.1 Pvt. Engineering Institute for placements (Source : Dataquest)

As for placements, they are decent i.e 3.5 lacs per annum that is considered average.Having a decent enough GPA in Amity, would almost guarantee you a job in one of the IT companies (avg. package being around 3.5L). If you're lucky enough, you could probably end up in one of the few companies, which would be related to your engineering domain.

Hii,i am here to help you according to your query.Well,Manipal is the best Engineering Institute in India .Manipal as the top private institute . Manipal University is one ofthe prestigious and best Engineering Institute in India. Manipal is far better than vit as well . Manipal ranked 20 in india by Nirf rankings. Manipal University had best placements records. Manipal University Ranked 8th best Engineering Institute in India in the terms of placements. Admissions are on the basis of jee main score.

Hope,this information helpful for you.

Hello Ma'am. Both of these are private colleges/universities. Both of these universities are very good but a lot of effort from your side is required to excel in your chosen stream. Peer group, infrastructure, faculties, placements, etc are much better in Manipal than of Amity. So Manipal would be your ideal choice.

Hi olivia,

Manipal is good for BTech in biotechnology. It has best faculties, infrastructure, and facilities for students which you won’t be able to get at any of the college mentioned above, be it Amity, BITS, or VIT.

The kind of facilities and support from the University, students are getting here is world class.Very recently Manipal University is ranked way above than BITS in QS World University Ranking 2019. VIT and Amity are not even in the world ranking list, so I don’t think we should compare them with Manipal.

ALL THE BEST!!

Hey aspirant,

Amity university has been ranked 35 by nirf conducted by Government.

So yes there Biotech faculty has great experience to offer.Placements offered every year as also good. Its fees might be a bit more as its private University.

Overall Amity Is a good choice if you feel that it has all the options you have been looking for.

Thank You

It will matter only if you are able to secure a seat in Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal campus. Since Biotechnology is a degree which needs a student to carve out his/her own career, it becomes a necessity to have a tag, which you can get at Manipal campus but in case you are getting Jaipur or Sikkim campus of Manipal University, then it would be a wise decision to go for Amity.

Incase you are able to secure a seat in Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal campus; then you should prefer that over Amity University, Noida. But in case you are getting seat in Jaipur or Sikkim campus of Manipal University then you should rather consider going for Amity Noida.

Hello Student,

It is a good University for b.tech as the placements for CSE students have been pretty decent in recent years. Around 85-90% of the students got placed. However, the average package offered was not high, and it was around 4 to 5 LPA. The highest package offered was around 10 to 11 LPA, but only a few students managed to get more than 8 LPA. You will always find something to do and develop yourself if you are willing. The campus crowd is quite good and diverse.

The faculties are helping and have a lots of experience.

The infrastructure is also good enough. All the buildings have the safety equipment, and the buildings are air-conditioned. A wheelchair is available in every building. Facilities for sports and games are quite good. Amity has a very good library and is of high standards.

Hope it helps you

Thank you!

Hello Olivia grace

First both of these are private colleges/universities. So, you will have to make a lot of efforts from your side to excel in your chosen stream. Now, as of college is considered then many things matter like peer group, infrastructurre, faculties, placements etc.

And in all the above parameters i would prefer Manipal over Amity anyday!

Hope that helps!
