Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programe in Mass Communication and Journalism shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, offered by Assam Women's University, Jorhat.


Eligibility Criteria

At least 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR equivalent Grade point. Relaxation up to 5% marks may be availed by the candidates belonging to the reserved categories
