I am the student of Hindi Hons here and it is quite good the faculty is very understanding and ofcourse very well educated and talented Although the curriculum is not up to date. And ofcourse there are some pros and cons every time
Since I am the student of BA Hindi Hons there is no specific placement but I heard from my friends that the placement cell of BA LLB and MBA are quite good and there is a placement cell in bhu where they trained students
The fees is very minimal ours is like 2600 approximately And for so much facilities and academics this is very minimal like very much this is definitely worth the money the hostel fees is also not that much.
Since I am girl student there is a new program called student well being initiative where so many opportunities are there and for your enjoyment there are so many clubs like rhetorical ( debate society) mousiquee music club and so on.
Here life is so happening you going to face your best and worst day So be prepared for both and once you settled that is all going to worth it
Yes, my college is having all the necessary equipment, facilities are top class & infrastructure is very good. We have wifi connectivity in our whole campus & many grouds for sports. We have cyber & central library. Everything is well maintained. Top class food is served here & hygiene is well maintained.
I am studying Hospital Administration & Management, and teachers are best here. This is a vocational course with 10+2 Science (PCB) as eligibility. This is actually a job-ready course. We study here how to manage hospital.
Top companies visit here. 80% students get placed. 4-5 LPA students get easily. Yes my college is very supportive. There are many companies incubated in AIC-BHU which also gets the students placed & Hackathons are conducted for taking the B-Plan for startups.
60k per annum. Yes, because I get practical exposure.
Best campus among all the universities in India. Student can engage in lots of societies which are cultural as well as educational. Anyone can join even IIT BHU's clubs too. The location is 1360 acres & a tourist spot too with many guards inside it. It is having hospital & health centre too.
No, my university is one of the leading colleges of India.
BHU has a well-developed infrastructure that facilitates the academic and personal growth of its students. The campus is dotted with numerous buildings, parks, gardens and temples. The cell also provides guidance and training to students to help them prepare for the recruitment process. The university's tie-ups with top companies and foreign universities, along with the strong alumni network, provide a vast array of placement.
The fee structure of the college is very reasonable along with yearly scholarships for the ones who need. One doesn't even have to worry about the fee structure to study in BHU.
Campus life is amazing. Campus is spread over 1350 acres along with lush greenery and fresh air. There are gym equipments in the campus at certain distance. Auditoriums and various sports grounds are there for students to play and engage themselves in extra curricular activities. Professors have their quarters inside the campus to help students whenever needed.
BHU is one of the oldest central universities in India with a good brand name. It was an honor to study in the university and there were plenty of learnings on the way.

I love this college I feel safe here banaras hindu university iit bhul IMS law sanskriti vedas many more course are there it is like small town greenery every where temple is also in the campus near iit bhu
My college does have all the necessary facilities that are mentioned above but the sports centres are not very well maintained and the mess provides home like food with it being hygienic, the living space is regularly cleaned too.
I am doing my M.A. in Geography to know more about this field which will eventually help in my upcoming studies. The teachers are highly qualified and are very punctual. I do think my curriculum is updated and has all the facilities that are needed in today's generation like smart class with speakers in the room. Yes it will help me in many competitive exams and can get me to clear my net and jrf exams.
The college doesn't have much opportunity in terms of placement. Very very few students get place from this course. The average package of which being about 40000 per month and the number of students placed is also quite less.
My course cost me around Rs 5000 a year for my academics. Yes I do think I am getting more than what I have paid.
The campus of the university is the biggest in India. It has many grounds and all the classrooms are modernised with smart classrooms. Students can participate in co-curricular and sports also. The students are very friendly while the teachers and support staff and very helpful. It's location is very viable from everywhere. It is very safe. It can handle emergencies as it has all the facilities in the campus only including a fully equipped hospital inside the campus.
University is very peaceful and is out of politics which is very good for students want to compete in competitive exams. So yes I am quite satisfied with the environment and also the campus is full of greenery.
Banaras Hindu University, is ranked among top 10 universities across India. It's situated in around 1300 acres so it's having quite big infrastructure . It has all facilities like library, sports ground (not 1 but many),hostel and wifi connection is also good . Classes are clean and the mess food is also good.
I'm currently pursuing graduation in BVOC computer application, faculty of arts ,deen Dayal Upadhyay department . This course is very latest in Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and demanding too . The course is designed in the manner that market needs ,the teaching process is quite ok not so good.
The quality of placement at Banaras Hindu University all depends upon the course which you're pursuing! As if the course is demanding in the market then the placement will surely be good at good level . The highest salary package was around 2crores per annum in IIT BHU. placement process is okay but it all depends student that how he or she deals with it.its not that college doesn't provide opportunities , it provides and lastly what a student is doing that matter.
My course fees is nearly 60000 per year as it is a professional course. The fees of other courses is quite cheap comparing to our one. Yeah sometimes I feel that my money is not worth for that course, as I was the first batch of the scores came in our university so the management team and all over the course coordination is not so good because they are facing many difficulties in running this course because it's new and the teachers are not available because the syllabus is very vast and advance
Campus life is very good and it should be good in a college student life. Campus is very big and it is situated in around 1300 acres its like a small city it's that big so what's the worst part is that any outsider can come to the campus and whatever he or she wants so it's kind of unsafe for females also but all though it's very good because it gives every facilities which a student needs it has libraries ,temple ,sports ground, hospital, etc yes it can handle emergencies too
Yes, In banaras Hindu University Good infrastructure and facilities. Here you enjoy your study in classrooms . But old CHC building built in 1921 so this is old but all Faculty and classrooms are new built . Every Faculty has its own library and own sport centre.
I am completed my graduation from BHU and I experienced here quality of education and quality of professor is very good. Professors are very friendly with student, they are very qualified. In BA 6th semester or last year you get placement from German ,Geography,Economics,Mathematics,Stastic etc. After studying you get good opportunity in your career from your Hons. Subject.
In BA there is only few subjects you get placed like German, French, Persian, Geography,Economics,Mathematics,Stastics,Mathematics etc. Package amount is in German is 4L to 6L per annum and highest Package in Economics Subject 10L to 12 L per annum.
This is central university so fee is very low like odd semesters 1,3,5 is approx 725 per semester and even semester 2,4,6 is 500 per semester. So if feel my money get worthy.
Campus life is so good Campus is around 24kmsquare in semicircle. This is in Banaras the city of The lord Shiva. Campus is green campus no cell phone tower situated in campus no vehicle entry except 4 whillers there is campus bus service you get full campus tour with it in free for the students.
College has all the important facilities like 25 hostels accomodating around 12000 students with good and hygienic food at affordable prices. It has seperate grounds for all the hostels and central library, cyber library and free wifi.
Study wise the university is very good, with experienced faculty. The syllabus is very updated and it is with the perspective of research. Faculty is very cooperative and take us to various field trips.
Placement was not very good in my subject. For job roles you have to do another course. No companies come for our course, but few subjects have many placement option. In history of arts you have to further clear net jrf for teaching roles.
It costs around 3000,and worth of money.
Good
Infrastructure has big classrooms and better environment with huge libraries, cyber library, playground around 5-6 and hostels with very less money and free wifi and hygienic food. It has botannical garden and many more things to explore.
Academic wise university is good, with good staff and better facilities. Proper practicals are done with every equipment. Faculty is cooperative and very helpful. The syllabus is quite broad and updated .
English hons. Has no placement, you have to pursue further degrees for the placement. Placement is quite corporate oriented . Some companies cone like tcs , wipro and many more but with very less packages.
It costs around 2500 and worth of money.
Good
College infrastructure has all the necessary facilities like central Library, cyber library, free wifi, cheap hostels with hygienic food and wifi. College has sport centres and playground around every hostels.
Academics is fine, with good faculty and staff. Academics syllabus is updated according to the net jrf syllabus, so it does prepare you for the further academics. And allows you to prepare for the research.
Placement is not at all good. Our course has no placement. Other courses may have placements but the quantity is less. Few companies do come like corporate sectors like tcs, wipro etc. With very less packages.
It costs around 2000 and worth of money.
It is outstanding.
Fantastic.

Hello Vaishnavi,
CHS BHU calls students for counseling if they have cleared cutoff according to their category, verify their documents and shortlist candidates based on rank and availability of seats.
Generally cutoff marks during cutoff does not increase but in some cases when additional counseling is conducted then the cutoff may increase due to lower seat availability and candidates with high scores are considered.
Hence calling for counseling does not always mean guarantee admission as it depends on other factors like rank, available seats and choices made by higher ranked candidates.
No, the CUET General Aptitude Test (GAT) is not always mandatory for admission to B.A. (Hons.) Political Science at BHU.
