Allahabad University Admission Process

Allahabad University admissions are offered to BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, B.Voc, B.Tech, MA, M.Sc, MBA, M.Tech, MBA, M.Ed, M.Com and Ph.D programmes. Candidates are offered admission at Allahabad University based on their scores in the Common University Entrance Exam (CUET) and JEE Main respectively.

Candidates seeking Allahabad University admissions can also apply for Diploma courses in the field of Language, Designing and Education. Allahabad University PG admissions are done on the basis of the PGAT entrance exam. However, the CRET score is accepted for Allahabad University Ph.D admission.

BA/B.Sc/B.Voc/BCA/B.Com	Register for CUET-UG examination from the official website cuetug.ntaonline.in. Fill in the application form and select Allahabad University as preference while filling the application form. Pay the application fees of Rs 1,000 (Rs 900 for OBC/EWS and Rs 800 for SC/ST/PwD). After the declaration of result register on the Allahabad University website using the CUET-UG roll number.
B.Tech	Register for JEE Main examination and select B.Tech as exam type. Pay the examination fees of Rs 1,000 (Rs 900 for Gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) and Rs 500 for SC/ST/PwD). Qualify the JEE Main examination and register for the Allahabad University B.Tech programme using the JEE Main roll number.
MBA/M.Sc/MCA/M.Com	Candidates must be eligible for admissions and appear for PGAT examination conducted by Allahabad University. Apply for admissions from the official website of Allahabad University. The list of selected candidates will be released by Allahabad University.
Ph.D	Allahabad University Ph.D admissions are based on NET/JRF examination. Eligible candidates need to appear for CRET Level 1 and Level 2 exam conducted by Allahabad University. Apply for the programme through official website of Allahabad University.

When will University of Allahabad will continue to conduct regular classes

Hello,

As per the University’s notification, regular (offline) classes will resume for postgraduate students from February 9, 2025, and for undergraduate students from February 14, 2025, after the online teaching period concludes. All lectures, tutorials, and seminars will be held in person at respective departmental venues. Offline attendance is mandatory unless otherwise directed, and virtual sessions will be discontinued for these programmes. Students should consult departmental notices for room allocations and time tables.
