The college infrastructure at our time was not that that good but if we compare from now that has been changed a lot. It seems that all the facilities and equipments have changed. At our time the classrooms just had blackboard but now it has black and white board and also projection . At our time the hostels were kept very clean and were always being in maintenance.
I did my ba Honours from Banaras Hindu University. I decided to do to the same from this university only because at our time this was the best university with the fair price at which a person can study at our time full stop the quality of teaching was very good at that time also the teachers were very supportive and helped a lot in our studies. They all were well educated and experienced.
Around 70% of the students were placed every year in Banaras Hindu University with a good package amount. The highest salary at our time was 5 lacs MBA department. The placement process was easy and please and for me
Banaras Hindu University has all necessary college infrastructure and facilities which are mandatory for every student. Our classrooms have blackboard with smart boards and also projections for practical study. The tables and the chairs are of good quality. The libraries have accommodation of about 500 works which is required by the student of every department. The hostel is good and the food provided is hygienic.
I am doing my BCom from Banaras Hindu University. I decided to do my graduation from here as I am native of Banaras and I know the hype Banaras Hindu University. Every student around India wanted to take admission in this university. The teachers are very friendly and caring.
This is my first year and I am fresher to the University so I don't know about the placement. But being a Central University it is quite obvious that the placements must be very good and around 70 to 80% students must be placed at a good position. As I am fresher so I don't know about the average salary package aur the highest salary. The college must be very supportive in this matter.
Our university has a spacious, well maintained classrooms, hostels, laboratories, libraries, functional halls, auditoriums, sports club and centres, canteens, etc, with all the required facilities including wifi, smart boards and all.
I am studying organisational behaviour as a branch of psychology. Our teacher's qualitative as well as quantitative teaching techniques are satisfactory. My curriculum is well updated and I am sure that it will help in my further career. My present education will definitely help in being ready for getting jobs in future in my field.
The placement at our university is appreciable. Near about 85% students get placements per year and they are offered a good package with at least 20 to 25 lakhs per year. Our University is very much supportive in placements and regarding procedures.
My course cost the much, to which a poor student can easily afford. And the fees is quite worthy because we are getting a proper education in an healthy and competative environment with surplus personality development.
The campus is very beautiful and the environment is very healthy. All the students, teachers, staffs are cooperative and supportive. The university campus is very much safe and we have a proper security force in all over the campus.
As we all know Banaras Hindu University is one of the Central University of India and it has topped many times the best central universities of India so it is quite obvious that it may have all type of facilities and equipment which are required by every student. And also it may be well maintained and in use. At our time the classrooms where well furnished and it had black board with smart board for better understand mint of each and every topic.
I did my BCom honours from Banaras Hindu University. I decided to do my graduation from this university only as it is one of the best Central University of India. It provides good education at fair prices which can an average medium class family can afford. The quality of teaching was very good and also it made all of us job ready for our future. The teachers were very supportive and helped us in each and every manner they could.
At our time around 50 to 60% of the students were placed. I don't know which department got the highest package or an average package which was provided. The quality of placements were very good the students were really satisfied by their placements full stop according to me the placement was easy and pleasant and also the college was very much supportive.
Banaras Hindu University provides great infrastructure with green campus. Faculties and hostels are well-maintained, classrooms are clean and large in size. There're a seperate library in faculty ,a computer lab, seminar halls ,an auditorium and its completely wifi zoned. In hostel, hygienic food were provided with cheap cost.
I had done my b.com(hons) from FOC , BHU. Studying in BHU has been a dream for all students. The faculty members are well-qualified, knowledgeable, experienced and very helpful. University update its syllabus as per the need. It also organize different workshops for students.
I can say that there's a decent type of placement here. As per my knowledge approx 10-15 companies visited every year and more than 20%- 30% of students are normally get placed. The average salary offered was ₹16,000 per month.
Fees structure are very low. My annual fees was around ₹2000..and ₹325 per semester. And yes it is much worthy .
Campus have a natural beauty because it is surrounded by greenery. There are so many stadiums, central library, cyber library, gym facilities, morning yoga facilities, popular hospitals for handling emergencies, so many cafeterias also available, banks facilities, parks and etc.
Being a part of BHU is a proud for me. I definitely recommend this college. Top NIRF ranking college.
as I have been once to to the university and I can see that it has all necessary facilities and equipments which are required by each student. classrooms are very good and have all necessary equipments and they are well maintained. I am a day scholar form not well aware about hostel and also I am a fresher so I cannot say anything about that.
as we all know Banaras Hindu university is one of the best Central university of India everyone wants to take admission in this university similarly I am also an aspiring student who wanted to take admission in this university. the quality of teaching is very good . despite of teaching virtually teachers are very supportive and try to solve our every problem which occurred to us.
I am not well aware about the placements but my my elder sister studied from one of the affiliated branch of Banaras Hindu university on behalf of that I can say that placement are good and the the college is supportive in the process of placement . I am not well aware about the average salary offered but yes they offer a good amount of salary.
Environment friendly Green campus equiped with all the basic amenities, separate play grounds ,courts, clean campus and hostels are pocket friendly classes are equipped with projectors neat and clean rooms
Best teaching faculties available and curriculum updates in regularly basis. I pursued my BA Social Science and education I get is helping me a lot while preparing for state pcs. Doing good in academics increase the chance of placement
For placement institute like azim premzi came for placement drives Students want to pursue graduation in foreign language they get a huge chance of placement company like amazon hire students from the faculty
This is a central university,it provides different course and are pocket friendly
Amazing wonderful
One of the best in every aspect
First, University,in my opinion,do not lack basic amenities which include clean and safe drinking water,24×7 hours uninterrupted electricity supply whether it is in department or hostel or cyber library. As being a student of geography for two years we got see laboratory which is quite well maintained but they can bring in more new equipments as per with evolving needs. When we talk of Sports infrastructure you will see Indoor sports complex as well outdoor facilities.Mess system need improvcement
Economics was my subject to be specialised in third year.I wish to study it because it fascinated aa I was curious to how market runs ,what is impact of demand and supply chain in peoples life. How studying a Economic paper cam help in improving condition of marginalised section of society.I think there is urgent need of syllabus updation as it does not match with applied economics we see ever evolving world.Till completion of graduation your basic is ready but need more polishing for job-ready.
Placement from our college is quite respectable as it houses IIT BHU ,IMS ,Fine arts and many more.I will be frank here most of the placement takes from IIT BhU.I think Two students from IIT was offered close to 2.5 to 3 crore per annum.I chose higher study after studying in BHU ,can't say much about placement.
My course was costing around 6 -7 thousand per year leaving aside MESS charge which was close to 3500 hundred.Even students coming from humble background are accommodative .I feel my course was Worth my money as you can easily figure out from above given fee it is win for you.
Campus life was fantastic and I enjoyed every moments of it when I studied there. But every thing has its own positive and negative aspects..Positive points-large numbers of hostel , environment is well and peaceful ,large ground as well Indoor complex, uninterrupted supply of water and electricity,AC library etc,Bus services.Negative-Equipments of classroom are not so well maintained, food of hostels can be improved ,overcrowded students in single classroom,no.of smartclass room is not adequate.
the facility at bhu is of very good standard.clases are equiped with all the modern facility.bhu have very good central library and also faculty librrary.whole campus have wifi.in front of every hostle there is one sports ground equiped with all the facility.cleaniness and greenery of bhu is one that one will like the most
teachers are well qualified ,campus has good environment of research and higher studies.teachers are very cooperative .classes are very interactive .there is the regular visit of foreign faculty and prominient personality in there research fied.
in humanities the chances of getting placed are low as very less company visit the campus to recruit .but the situation in other stream is comparatively nice ,but the chances of getting high salary placement is veery less
bhu is very reasonable for poor student.cost per the facility provided are very nice.fee of the university is very much government subsidised.the fooding and hostle charges are very much reasonable
greenery ,cafeteria ,playground ,hostle facility all gives maximum chances for the overall improvement of the student .enough time to chill with friends.the neary by ganga ghhat provide good place for refreshment
if you want to experience knowledge with spirituality and the vitality of life one must come to varanasi and bhu (the capital of knowledge)
The College has all the required necessities of a student. It's basic amenities include library, hostels, swimming pool, basketball courts , laboratories etc. The classrooms are maintained properly and are clean.
I am currently pursuing Bcom hons from Banaras Hindu University. The professors here are cooperative and supportive. The teaching quality is good. Does it make the student job ready??? Not always but yes mostly.
Since I am in the first year , I don't have much knowledge about the placements but our seniors say that the placements are average. And also placements to a large extent depends upon the course you are pursuing.
Talking about the fee structure, the fee is cheaper for the main campus students and a bit higher for the affiliated colleges. And then again the fee structure depends on the course you are going to pursue.
Our college has a lot of greenery and it's very airy also. Talking about the activities so there are ample of feasts, programs arranged by the college. Students are free to participate in any and as many activities as they can.
It's a good opportunity to get into this College and then the professors guide the students to bring the best out of the students potential. There is a friendly environment.l, Placements are good, staffs are polite .

Hello Vaishnavi,
CHS BHU calls students for counseling if they have cleared cutoff according to their category, verify their documents and shortlist candidates based on rank and availability of seats.
Generally cutoff marks during cutoff does not increase but in some cases when additional counseling is conducted then the cutoff may increase due to lower seat availability and candidates with high scores are considered.
Hence calling for counseling does not always mean guarantee admission as it depends on other factors like rank, available seats and choices made by higher ranked candidates.
No, the CUET General Aptitude Test (GAT) is not always mandatory for admission to B.A. (Hons.) Political Science at BHU.
