All the faculties and departments are well equipped with all modern facilities. The Whole Campus is fully Wifi enabled. Campus has a Central Library, a Cyber Library and all departments and faculties have their own library. The university runs campus bus service also.
The quality of teaching here is good and all professors are highly qualified. The university updates it's syllabus regularly keeping in mind the need and changing scenario of the subject matter. Field study is also part of syllabus here.
Only a few companies visit Faculty of Arts and Social science for placement. The placement rate in other faculties are high but in case of Arts, the placement rate is not high. Even in faculty of Arts, the companies mostly prefer students of foreign languages.
The fee structure is very low and annual fee here is around ₹3000-₹4000. The hostel fee is also very low. University provides many facilities in this low fee including health facility, free wifi, bus service, access to many journals, etc.
Banaras Hindu University has a beautiful campus. It is a central of attraction even for pilgrims and tourists coming to Varanasi. Students get multiple opportunities to show and enhance their hidden talent as each faculty celebrates annual youth festival. It is safe as campus has its own proctorial board and hospital. It is rightly described as 'Capital of Knowledge'
This university is one if the prestigious university of India. The campus is spread across 1,300 making it largest residential Universities in Asia. It has facilities like central library, cyber library, gym, swimming pool, free wifi, canteen, decent hostel facilities, lush playground with multiple sports stadium. It also has India's tallest Shiva's temple.
Academic is not that good compared to rest of central universities like DU. Classes are not regular. But some proffesor are genuinely interested in teaching so one have to find them. The curriculum neends an updation.
There is decent placement only in courses like Law, agriculture, and foreign language. Otherwise there is no scope of placement in other coursess. There are also IITs, Management courses and medical college
Since it is a central university, fees is very less around 1000 bucks per year for general courses. Even in courses like BA LLB, fees is very less....so value for money is decent.
Most important part of campus life is its lush greenery. One can play variety of sports like football, cricket, basketball, mountaineering, hockey, squash, badminton. After exhausting lecture one can hangout in vishwanath temple amd madhuban.
Crowd of this campus is hindi speaking as most of the students are from bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Most important thing im this campus is its central library with lakhs of books...
The college has all the necessary infrastructure that a central university should have like large classrooms, well equipped laboratories, two libraries central and cyber, various sport centres and playgrounds, separate hostels for boys and girls.
The faculty members are very helpful and cooperative. They try their level best to make us understand every topic in this online session. They are ready to clear all our doubts anytime. The curriculum is updated.
As I'm a first yer student I don't ko much about placements but as I have heard from seniors the placements are good. The university has a great exposure and provides opportunities to the students in various fields.
The course fee is very less as it's a govt. institution.I feel that the money is worth it only if you study hard to become successful in life.
Although I have not experienced the campus life but as I have heard the campus life is really great.CCD is a place to hangout with friends and Vishwanath temple is a place to visit inside the campus.

Students get placed in companies like Utkarsh finance bank, v mart, future group etc.
The infrastructure is very good. It is fully equipped with all equipment. Faculties are also very supportive. The college campus is very good and is full of greenery and also very hygienic. There are also different departments in the library so that no one gets disturbed.
I studied B.com (Hons) . The quality of teaching is very good. All the teachers are very supportive. The curriculum is well job oriented and is updated once in a year to maintain the quality of education.
There is no placement system. This college is only for taking admission in courses like B.com, B.A. With such courses it is hard to get a job. Students have to do their post graduation to get a job. Taking the knowledge from this college you can get jobs outside or off campus.

Hello Vaishnavi,
CHS BHU calls students for counseling if they have cleared cutoff according to their category, verify their documents and shortlist candidates based on rank and availability of seats.
Generally cutoff marks during cutoff does not increase but in some cases when additional counseling is conducted then the cutoff may increase due to lower seat availability and candidates with high scores are considered.
Hence calling for counseling does not always mean guarantee admission as it depends on other factors like rank, available seats and choices made by higher ranked candidates.
No, the CUET General Aptitude Test (GAT) is not always mandatory for admission to B.A. (Hons.) Political Science at BHU.
