The integrated 5-Year Program in Biotechnology is the field of modern medical practice, where students study the organisms and bioprocesses involved in medicine, engineering, and technology. The course offers biotechnological skills in variegated areas such as microbial, animal, plant biology, health, agriculture, and the environment.

The scope of Biotechnology is expanding and steadily growing in India and the world.

Bennett University offers Integrated B.Tech-M.Tech in Biotechnology under the supervision of experienced faculty. These faculty members have a rich research background in academia and industry.

The curriculum is curated to impart skills evolving technology and industry needs. It offers core subject knowledge with professional development. It aims to focus on research skills, analytical skills and entrepreneurship. Students would be able to earn significant knowledge about genetics, plant and animal tissue culture, molecular biology, genetic engineering. Also, students will know more about courses such as immune technology, nanotechnology and biosensors, and as genetic screening and personalised medicine, bioprocess engineering and industrial microbiology.

Eligibility Criteria

Domestic
Passed XII standard from any recognised Education Board with Physics and Biology/Biotechnology/Botany/Zoology & any third subject with minimum 65% marks OR IB Board with minimum score of 24

NRI
Pass with 55% aggrigate marks in grade 12th/ A level or equivalent (with physics & mathematics) and English language requirement (ELR).

Admission Details

Update scores/marks in the application form immediately within 7 days of declaration of results:

10+2 or equivalent examination; OR
Percentile obtained in NEET OR
IB (DP/Certificate) Board predicted scores (received through counsellor)/ actual score, OR
Percentile uniform marks in IGCSE; OR
