Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Horticulture is a four-year full-time course offered by Bihar Agricultural University, Bhagalpur.


Eligibility Criteria

The minimum eligibility qualification required for admission in B. Sc. (Agriculture)/ B.Sc. (Horticulture) shall be Intermediate in Science i.e. (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combination. Students having passed I. Sc. examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Agriculture shall not be eligible for admission to any of the undergraduate degree programs of the university.

Admission Details

The candidates must be permanent residents of the State of Bihar or domicile of the Bihar State. As many as 85% of the total seats in a particular degree program shall be filled up through Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination or University Entrance, however, the rest 15% of the seats shall be filled up by the candidates selected through All India Competitive Test conducted by ICAR/ VCI, New Delhi. Admission to each degree program except for sponsored/ ICAR candidates shall be made in the first Semester of the ensuing year only.
