The CCS University infrastructure is a good-sized and aging one, as it has been there for decades. There is a large central library, and every department has its own setup for students. The classrooms may be large but they lack features and services that users might find essential. The canteen is quite okay and serves good quality food at low prices.
As a government university, the faculty is very qualified but not always helpful. Majority of the teachers just focus on getting through the syllabus, and their mode of teaching is mainly theoretical in nature. One major complaint heard from students is that their doubts are not always taken seriously.
The number of students placed is so low that it just reaches 20–25%, and the average salary package is about ₹2–2.5 LPA. It is true that companies like HCL, Somany, and some local finance firms do come for recruitment, but unfortunately, big corporate opportunities are missing.
The hostel facility is there, but the option is not taken by everyone. The canteens provide food at a lower price, but the quality is just average. Apart from that, sports facilities like cricket, volleyball, and football fields are there.
Most of the faculty members in the commerce department are well qualified and always ready to help. Many of them have Ph.D. degrees and have been teaching for more than ten years. Moreover, they are very friendly and always willing to answer all the questions. The method of instruction is mostly theoretical, but they also give good practical examples during the lecture.
Only a limited number of students are able to secure good job positions, and the salary packages are not up to the mark. The maximum salary offered is approximately ₹25,000 per month, while the minimum can be as low as ₹10,000 per month. Some local businesses along with a few companies such as HDFC Life, Kotak Securities, Reliance Retail, and Future Group have hired college students, but in general, placements are quite restricted.
The campus is huge with distinct departments for arts, commerce, science, and law. The classrooms are not very fancy, and the library is quite helpful with a decent number of books. Students can avail of the hostel facilities, and the mess offers relatively cheap and average quality food.
Weekly seminars and guest lectures are conducted, and this helps in overall learning. The teachers are always with a smile on their face and have the full zeal to solve the doubt of the students, but the curriculum is old fashioned.
The scenario for B.Com graduates at CCS University is quite disappointing in terms of placements. Only 20-30% of the students are usually able to get job offers, and most of them find work by themselves. In addition, the salary packages are also very low, which are normally at the level of 1-2 LPA.
The campus possesses a huge library with a good stock of books, and each department has separate facilities. The canteen offers good food at reasonable prices, but hostel facilities for students of B.Com are not present. Because the university is old, the buildings possess a historic value, and the campus surroundings are very open and spacious.
The quality of teaching is usually mediocre, and most of the time students have to depend on self-study. The course curriculum is academic-oriented but fails to equip students for industry needs. As a whole, the emphasis is on theoretical knowledge and not practical education.
Placement of B.Com students at CCS University is not good. Very few well-known companies visit for recruitment in the course. There are some local organizations and small-scale industries that visit, but opportunities are very limited and are not enough for all. The average salary package is of about 2–3 LPA, and very few students get placement directly from the campus.
The campus is extremely large and well-established in the area, with a library, seminar halls, and sports fields for the overall development of students. As the majority of the students are day scholars, hostel facilities are minimal and average in comfort and maintenance levels.
The teaching staff of the B.Com department are well-educated and helpful. They assist students both in studies as well as in providing assistance to study further such as CA, CS, or MBA. The only negative point is that the curriculum has not been revised in years and seems a little old relative to current demands.
Hardly any companies come for recruitment, and most of the time the opportunities are limited to professional courses like MBA or law. For B.Com students, there is almost no direct placement support, and most of us have to search for jobs on our own after completing the degree.
There is a big library with a good collection of books, but the facilities such as Wi-Fi and digital resources are limited. Classrooms are outdated, although they are spacious. Hostel facilities are average and the quality of food is not uniform. Sports facilities are relatively good compared to other facilities, but medical facilities are extremely poor and require much improvement.
The majority of the teachers simply concentrate on covering the syllabus and ensuring the students pass the semester exams. Placements and career guidance are hardly supported. Students end up feeling that they need to rely on self-study and outside coaching in order to construct their future.
Local companies and finance companies hire students, but no large recruiters hire on campus. The median salary package is closer to ₹2–2.5 LPA, and the maximum is only just over ₹3.5 LPA. The majority of students are not placed through the university and have to find jobs or prepare for government exams independently.
The classrooms are good, but the practical laboratories and computer rooms are old and in bad condition. The library is adequate with some books, but not much scope for practical learning. There are sports facilities, such as a volleyball court, but they are usually not available.
A couple of faculty are friendly and informative, but the majority are not kind and even strict towards students. Although the course is completed on time and the Industry exposure is limited rare trips to local companies or organizations are organized.
No placements are done by the university. Even toppers of the college find it difficult to get placements after graduating. There are no such companies that visit the campus for placements, and no guidance is provided to the students by the college regarding internships and placements.
This university have well equipped classrooms, having smart classes where it requiredand the most aspiring library with necessary books. The campus area is very broader and beautiful and have improved parking facilities for vehicles.
The university provides the both practical and theoretical knowledge about the law which helps the students for making career in judiciary and for professional careers. The university known for its knowledgeable faculty which ensuring the effective learning environment
The placement cell is not upto the expectation mark and the campus needs to do a lot in order to build academia industria linkage, but the affirmative action of the campus could really make a potential of students come out.
Ccs University has its historical building. There are 164 classrooms with lcd projector, 35 seminar halls with proper laboratories. Have a big library raja mahendra pratap library which subscription to 82 foreign languages.csmpus is fully wifi enabled and have hostel facilities too.
University offers multiple programs in arts, science, research, and others. The syllabus is up-to-date. Also the curriculum makes you industry ready. There are webinars, seminars, guest lectures, debates, presentation programs for students to enhance their skills.
Average package is 5lpa. As a law students I didn't face any challenges in placement as the university is in meerut and there are multiple options to start your career in local itself like court, firms. Placement rates are between 50-70%>
If you wants your career in govt sector then you can go for ccsu as it offered govt job preparation and their faculties are also very supportive. Its historical building and library make it more attractive. The fee is very low.
There are crowd campus Life, strong lively atmosphere. Campus is filled with student energy, strong voices, freedom to explore. Fresher parties celebrity invites inter College events, sport meets programs on time to time.
Overall ccsu offers a balance between academic and leisure. Grounded in authenticity, freedom to explore, connect and grow. The campus has greenery, big sports ground, central library. The atmosphere is safe and very peaceful ambiance. It's placement scores suggest decent performance, not exceptional but giving a solid student experience. The faculties also very supportive and suggest students good for their skills improvements. Ccsu is spread over 221 acres with 85 labs, journals, thesis, books
The facilities are decent for a government university. Wi-Fi is available in some areas of the campus, mainly in the library and computer labs. The library is quite large and has books for almost every subject you need, both for academics and general knowledge. The canteen is average.
The faculty members are experienced and know their subjects well. They are helpful if you approach them and provide good guidance before exams. Many teachers give notes and sample questions to help students prepare.
The placements for our course are not good. Most of my seniors didn’t get placed through the university. Instead, many are preparing for government exams like SSC, banking, and state-level services. The university does not pay much attention to placements for B.Com students.
Hello aspirant,
Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) conducts its own entrance exam for admission into the M.Ed. program. To prepare effectively, getting the last 5 years’ question papers with answer keys is extremely useful as it helps you understand the paper pattern, frequently repeated questions, and difficulty level. While CCSU itself may not officially upload old question papers on the website, you can often find them in local bookshops near the university campus or from seniors who appeared in past exams. Additionally, many educational portals and teacher forums share PDF compilations of previous year paper. Solving these papers in a timed manner will improve speed and accuracy. Combine this with syllabus-based revision for best results.
Thank you!
