24 MonthsMaster of Science (MSc) in Mathematics is a full-time two years duration science stream program and it is offered by Christ University, Bangalore.
The M.Sc. course in Mathematics aims at developing mathematical ability in students with acute and abstract reasoning. The course will enable students to cultivate a mathematician’s habit of thought and reasoning and will enlighten students with mathematical ideas relevant for oneself and for the course itself.
Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate who has passed any undergraduate degree examination with 50 % aggregate marks and 50% of marks in the cognate subject (Mathematics) from any recognized University in India or abroad recognized by UGC/AIU are eligible to apply.
- Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have secured 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / Years of Undergraduate Examinations conducted so far and 50% of marks in the cognate subject.
Admission Details
Admissions are done on the basis of Christ University Entrance Test, Skill Assessment, Academic Performance, and Personal interview.

College Infrastructure
CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is one of the top colleges in Bangalore. I studied there for my Masters of Science in Mathematics in Central Campus. The facilities in the university is great. There are two libraries inside the campus which is well maintained. The classrooms are equipped with boards, projector, white screen, tables and chairs. All the equipments are well maintained.
