12 MonthsMaster of Laws (LLM) is a one-year full-time postgraduate program in Law offered by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur.
The objective of introduction of LL.M. One Year Programme is to develop the professional persona of aspirants of LL.M. Program with the combination of learning the Law with practical approach. This budding University aims to use interdisciplinary approach to legal studies with dynamic and flexible curriculum taught by experienced and qualified faculty.
Specialization may be offered in the following areas:
- Constitutional and Administrative Law
- Intellectual Property Law
- Corporate & Commercial Law
- Criminal and Security Law
Eligibility Criteria
A Candidate who has passed the Bachelor of Laws (P) degree Examination of the University or an examination of some other University recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent there to securing minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate or a candidate who holds LL.B.(P) Three Year / Five Year degree and has also passed any of the Diploma courses of the university in the Faculty of Law with 55% marks in the aggregate at the Diploma Examination (i.e. having law degree) and thereafter pursued a regular course of study in an affiliated colleges for one academic year shall be eligible for admission to L.L.M. Part I Examination.
The candidate must possess a Bachelor degree in Law (P) / PG diploma as specified above with minimum of 55% marks in aggregate for UR and EWS and (50% for SC, ST, OBC, MBC & Divyang).
- UR: Unreserved Category, SC - Scheduled Caste, ST - Scheduled Tribe
- OBC: Other Backward Class, MBC: Most Backward Class
- Divyang: PWD
Admission Details
In view of the pandemic crisis, the university took into consideration the limitations in conducting Entrance Test for admission in LL.M. programme Therefore, it has been decided that the admission may be done on the basis of Merit of the student in qualifying examination. i.e. Bachelor's Degree in Law or PG Law Diploma Examination. The percentage claimed by the candidate at the time of filling of his/her Online application form shall only be considered as final for preparing the merit list of the admission and no other document in this regard shall be entertained by the University afterwards.
The online application form may be edited by the candidate till the last date of the filling of the Online Application form.
