GGU University is a good choice for studying mechanical engineering. Faculty is good here but it is said that industrial visits are less here.

The fee structure is also feasible here which is about: 28,850 for first year.

The placement here is good which is about 70%.

The average salary package is about 4-8 lakh per annum.

Its recruiters are Aditya Birla Group, cashpore finance, Axis Bank,  Patil rail Infrastructure private limited, Orient papers, Tata Infotech, Godrej Infotech, Tata consultancy Services and Wipro BPO etc.

Guru Ghasidas University is an old University established in 1983 with a number of faculty working here. Also the campus extend to an area of 655 Acres. The college offers variety of courses like B.com, B.A. , B.Sc. , M.E /M.Tech. The college offers a good placement opportunities with an average package of Rs. 3.50 lakh. The college is well equipped with all the basic requirements of students like computer centre, placement cell , ATM, sports, gym, hostels and transport. The admission for Btech programme is done on the basis of jee mains score that is through josaa counselling.

It is a good college both in terms of placement and facilities.

Dear candidate if you make a thorough analysis onto the Placement trends of past few years of GGU Institute, Bilaspur, firstly you need to focus a lot on your studies, give too much effort and placement rate is very poor here!! You will be quite disappointed with their placements. Only few companies visit the campus every year, around 8-10 students are placed, median offered salary package is around 2-3 LPA.

Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya is a Central University located in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India. it is a good college with good faculties. It is one of the largest and oldest institution of higher education of Chhattisgarh. Guru Ghasidas Viswavidyalaya’s Central Placement Cell is not only focusing placement for professional courses such as Engineering, Management and Pharmacy but it is equally focused for other branches of science as well as humanities and commerce.

The university organizes some activities for the students aiming to improve their communication skills.

Company-specific training, Industry-Institution interaction programs are also arranged regularly. Aptitude test, Mock Test, Group Discussion, Technical, General Interview Skills, and Industry Institution Interaction programs are also arranged by the university.

After internships, the procedure for placements starts. There are different numbers of students in every branch like 100, 150, 180, and 200. During internships, they offer Rs.12,500/- for juniors and offer Rs.40,000 - 50,000k per month.

For seniors they offer Rs.55,000- Rs. 60,000 per month.

All the students got internships after completing their MBBS course. They posted for rural services in different hospitals.

In my opinion you should go for Pondicherry Engineering College.

Pondicherry Engineering College :-

Placements: Almost 90% of the students from cse course got placed. The highest salary offered is 3 lacs per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 80,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like TCS and Amazon visit campus for placements. A top role offered to the students is an entrepreneur. The highest salary package offered in course is 50 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 7.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. About 50% of the students from cs course got an internship in companies like TCS.

Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. Wi-Fi facility is the best, and lab facilities are super. The college has the biggest library in Pondicherry. In the library, you can collect more books. Classrooms are super. The hostel has good infrastructure, and it has a well-defined structure. It is clean. The canteen is good, and the mess is also good. Sports and games are good, and it conducts sports day for a month. The college provides good medical facilities in college.

Faculty: Teachers in  college are not like teachers, they are like friends. They have a lot of knowledge, and they deliver their knowledge to the students. Their teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready.

GGU Bilaspur :- You have to be on your own here, don't expect anything from the teachers. Students from branches other than cse can only hope for cracking the gate somehow and go for higher education. The student crowd here is not very good, the seniors are no better. Make your connections with other students if you want to achieve something.

Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya is a central university located in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. GGU has been approved as a university by the UGC. It has been accredited with a B+ Grade by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The placements of GGU is not good but its improving. About 40% of the students gets placed from the CSE branch . The maximum salary offered was about 10.5 LPA and the average salary is between 3 to 4 LPA. A handful of companies visit the campus to recruit students like ICICI Prudential, Yes Bank, Jindal Steel & Power, TATA, etc.
