Eligibility Criteria
Plus Two examination under 10+2 system or examination equivalent there to of a Board/ University established by Law in India with 45% marks (40% marks for Scheduled Caste/ Schedule Tribe candidates).
OR
Any examination of a University/ Board/ College or School in foreign country recognized as equivalent for the above purpose by the Vice - Chancellor/ equivalence committee on its own or on recommendations of Association of Indian Universities with 45% marks (40% marks in case o f SC/ST).
Admission Details
The admission to 40 subsidized seats is based on competitive examination which comprises Application Ratings, Written Test (comprising of four parts , e.g. General English, General Mathematics, General Knowledge and General Management), Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Himachal Pradesh University has all the facilities. The classrooms and buildings are functional but not very modern. While the campus is generally clean, it would benefit from some updates to make it feel more current and comfortable for students.

The college infrastructure very beautiful and it is located in one of the hills of Shimla which is know as summer hills. The view and it is located in the center of the mountains and the surroundings it so peaceful.

Himachal Pradesh University in Shimla has a pretty campus surrounded by hills. The buildings are modern and fit nicely with the natural beauty. Classrooms are big and well-equipped, and the library has lots of books and online stuff. The campus is calm with gardens and places to relax.
