About IIIT Trichy
Indian Institute of Information Technology, Tiruchirappalli was established in 2013. IIIT Trichy is an Institute of National Importance and one among the 21 IIITs under the non-profit Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Model by MHRD. Indian Institute of Information Technology, Tiruchirappalli, which was founded in 2013, does not provide scholarships on behalf of the IIIT Trichy to its students. However, students can apply for various state and central government scholarships to get academic support. There are separate scholarships for students belonging to SC/ST or economically weak sections from the state as well as central government. Apart from this, IIIT Trichy scholarships are also offered based on merit, or academic performance through merit cum means scholarship by the state or central government to outstanding performers.
IIIT Trichy Scholarships were introduced to provide aid and financial support to students who are economically weak but have the potential to achieve big in academic studies. When it comes to engineering and technology studies, scholarships play a crucial role for many students since the fees are high. Therefore, various scholarships are provided by the central and state government to support students who wish to learn and grow. The list of some of the State and Central Government scholarships that students can avail of are given below.
· Post-Matric minority scholarship schemes given by the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
· Merit-cum-means scholarships by state and central government.
· Top Class Education Scheme for SC students provided by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

Students, before applying for the scholarships, must pay attention to the eligibility criteria required by the provider. For SC/ST category scholarships, student’s family income must not exceed Rs 4.5 lakhs per annum, and in the case of merit-based scholarships, a certain score of GPA or percentage will be required to ensure that the student is deserving of the scholarship which is based on academic performance. The scholarships are not given to all individuals who apply, but to all those who submit the needed documents and meet the eligibility criteria set by the provider.
Students can also avail of educational loans from certain banks with low interest or no interest in academic studies if needed. Even though the institute doesn’t offer scholarships to students, they will assist students in applying for scholarships and student education loans.

Candidates must be eligible for admission to the M.Tech programme at IIIT Trichy and must show up and pass the GATE 2025 test.
Candidates must next apply and show up for the CCMT counselling.
The candidate must next fill out a preference course form and choose IIIT Trichy as their chosen college throughout the counselling process.
The candidates' seats will next be assigned based on how well they performed on the admission exam. A merit list will be created for applicants who have not taken the GATE exam based on their Academic Progress Record (APR).

College Infrastructure
College has necessary infrastructure facilities and equipments for the students according to requirements. Classrooms has smart boards ,projector facilities, laboratories are well - maintained ,wifi facility is available is college ,mess area , hostel also. Cleanliness is also maintained in hostel , mess etc. Food is highly hygienic.

We are currently using Nit Trichy as our host college, For hostel one needs to commute from another college hostel which is 25 km away or have your own rental room nearby. One can still use other facilities by Nit except hostel.

If we compare all of these IIITs then IIIT Nagpur will be my first preference for ECE the median salary offered by IIIT Nagpur branch was 16 lakh around ,then IIIT Nagpur the average salary around 14 lakh then IIIT trichy with average CTC 9.7 LPA.

Hope you are doing well ! Yes , there is reservation for sc, St and once category in every field , job, admission etc . Like in government jobs , the cutoff goes very low for sc and St and in the entrance exam like jee and neet there are fixed seat for sc and St categories student . If you belong to such category and you work little hard then you can definitely do very great in your life .
