Certification Qualification Details
Certification of completion of the LaTex for Students, Engineers, and Scientists course by IITBombayX Honor Code will only be issued if participants can successfully meet the criteria of the grading policy of the course. It is to be noted that no hard copy of the certificate will be available. Online certificates will be issued to the participants.

- Installation- First step of the course will be to introduce the participants to LaTex and provide them with the information regarding its installation.
- Dealing with mathematical formulae or equations- Basic equations are easily programmed in LaTex.
- Organizing documents under appropriate headings and subheading- Throughout the course participants will be given an understanding of organizing their documents.
- Formatting pages- Users will be able to use various features of formatting pages. They will be provided with options of using headers, footer to add footnotes, margins to make the boundaries proper having the same distance.
- Bibliography and indexing- LaTex will help users put bibliography in the preferred style, for example, MLA format and more. There will be Automatic bibliography and index. formation

Admission Details
The process of admission for LaTex for Students, Engineers, and Scientists classes will be held online. Online application forms will need to be filled by participants. No other mode of application will be accepted.
- The interested participant will have to sign up on the website- https://www.it.iitb.ac.in/lakshya/signup.html with valid email id.
- A verification mail will be sent to verify the account registered.
- After successful verification, the applicant's account will be created.
- The applicant is supposed to sign-in on the website mentioned above with the newly created account.
- After signing in, the participant will then have to select the Announcement option. It will be followed by selecting the course LaTex for Students, Engineers, and Scientists.
- He will then be led to the registration form. After correctly filling the required information, the participant will need to submit the form and register.
- The filling of the registration will be followed by online payment.
- After successful registration, the participant will receive an automated mail confirming his registration on the registered email id.
- The participant will then be able to find his name on the "List of Participants page".
- At last, the participant will have to register on IITBombayX site (https://courses.iitbombayx.in/register) with the registered email id to get access to the course syllabus or content.
