B.S. in Electronic Systems at IIT Madras is a four-year undergraduate online degree programme. The IIT Madras BS in Electronic Systems has three levels - Foundation, Diploma and Degree. To earn the BS Degree from IIT Madras, students have to complete all the levels. Each level encompasses courses, credits, and assessments, giving learners the flexibility to exit at any level. They can receive the certificate depending on the courses completed and credits earned. However, only those students are eligible for the online BS in Electronics Systems at IIT Madras who complete the first four semesters.

Eligibility Criteria
To pursue the IIT Madras Online BS Electronic Systems degree, aspiring candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Completion of the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as subjects of study.
Students appearing for their Class 11 final exams with Physics and Mathematics as subjects of study can also apply for the programme and join the course after clearing Class 12.

Candidates can apply admission to IIT Madras BS Electronic Systems programme by filling in an application form and paying the application fee. They need to apply admission to the Foundation Level through Regular entry and JEE-based entry. For the Regular entry, candidates have to go through the Qualifier Process.
