24 MonthsMaster of Arts in English Language and Literature is two years (4 Semester) full-time postgraduate program offered by the Department of English Language and Literature at Islamic University of Science and Technology, Pulwama.
The program offers subjects ranging from Contemporary British Literature to Indian Writing in English, from World Literature to Contemporary Critical Approaches with a wide range of fiction, non-fiction, drama and poetry from the 19th and 20th centuries. The deeper understanding of canonical and innovative approaches to English literature is apportioned through 16 courses covering significant literary texts and movements from the age of Chaucer in the 14th century to the present.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with English as one of the subjects with 45% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
Admission Details
The Selection of a candidate shall be based on his/her performance in the Entrance Test and the Qualifying Examination.

the college experience is good
College Infrastructure
yes the college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. college has big cricket ground, computer labs . the college also provides hostel facilities and whole campus is wifi enabled. the these facilities are well maintained. the living spaces are clean.

College Infrastructure
All the buildings including library, convocation hall, auditorium are well built. Besides, a number of buildings are under_constructiin. Classrooms are well furnished and very clean providing a study_support environment
