Master of Arts (MA) in Folklore is a full-time two-year postgraduate course and it is offered by the Karnataka University, Dharwad


Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate must have passed the Bachelor Degree with 45% (40% for SC/ ST/Cat-I candidates) of marks in respective subjects/papers in aggregate from any recognized university.

Admission Details

Admission based on the marks obtained in the respective subjects/aggregate marks in the qualifying examination and Entrance test.

Note: In respect of those subjects where Entrance test is conducted admission shall be made on the basis of a merit list prepared by taking into consideration 50% of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (excluding Basic/Common subjects) and 50% of marks obtained in the Entrance test.

Yess we have all the necessary infrastructure and equipments in our Karnataka University Dharwad main campus and big sports ground Gymkhana and Big library free wifi smart boards and projects and have all the hostels
