Doctor Of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Biotechnology shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned Offered by  Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari.


Eligibility Criteria

Master’s degree in Life Sciences / Biological Physical / Chemical or Agricultural Sciences / Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology Bioinformatics / Genetics / Microbiology / Systems Biology / any other branch of Biological Sciences with 55% marks or equivalent grade for Unreserved category and 50% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PWD candidates.
