There are four sections in DU LLB Entrance Examination-  English language, analytical skills, legal awareness  and aptitude, general knowledge and current affairs.

In English language section, there will be questions from grammar, unseen passage,  antonyms-synonyms, fill in the blanks etc. The best way to prepare is to refer any comprehensive grammar book and read any one english newspaper daily.

Analytical skills section includes maths, reasoning, aptitude etc. For this, you should revise maths books of class V to X. Also there will be questions from seat arrangement, blood relation, speed, time and distance, coding decoding, syllogism etc.

Universal DU LLB guide is considered very helpful for both legal awareness and legal aptitude sections. You should try to complete the entire legal aptitude section.

Reading newspapers regularly will extremely help you to be aware of the current affairs. For general knowledge section, you can refer to these books- Manorama Year book, India Year Book etc.

If possible you should make a proper study plan and do accordingly. There are many mock tests booklets available in the market, choose any one of them and start solving the mock papers. Solving previous year papers will help you to get accustomed.

Also the candidate should have secured 45% of marks aggregate with adequate proficiency in the subject/ language concerned. Hi Utkarsh

If you want to do diploma in Jamia it's good but for admission there you must have your migration certificate, which you have already suggested so it is better to collect it from college as fast as possible.

Thanku

Placements : In placements, 60% of the students are placed yearly. Many private companies come like TCS, Reliance, Mahindra, Wipro, LAVA, Jio, and many more. The minimum package is 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest package is approximately 7 lakhs per annum. Many students are also placed in government sectors like NTPC, BHEL, power grid, UPPCL Indian railways and many more.

dear aspirant,

I would request you to contact the admission cell of the college for confirming the details to be written in the Demand draft.

As each college has a different predescribed format for every document to be submitted at time of admission by the candidates. They will clearly tell you what to write in the name field.

hope this helps.

Hello Amisha,

May I let you know that When you are paying fees or any kind amount through demand draft to any college or institute you need to make the demand draft in Favor of either the college name or either the bank account of the college(i.e. you need to mention the account name of the college).

Also you can visit the college office for your query they may help you much better.

Hope this may help you.

Hello aspirant

This depends on your further career expectations. If you want job through campus placement just after BTech, then this college seems to be a mirage for you. In our time, TCS was the only company to visit this campus but now that too has stopped coming for placement.

But the story doesn’t end here, campus placement is not the only criteria to judge a college. If one wants to be academically strong and grow further after BTech or wants to prepare for government exams, this is the best place. Here, you will get ample time to prepare for any exam including CAT, GATE, IAS, CGL, etc. I Know alumni of this college who are at the topmost places like ISRO, MICROSOFT, National Informatics Centre (NIC), II T’S, PSU’s (GAIL, BEL, SBI), Top Most NIT’s, IIM’s and few are also pursuing higher education from foreign universities.

Secondly, there are no strict rules for attendance providing you have average convincing skills.

Thirdly, faculties are quiet helpful. Even though the mastery of their subjects is not like that of premier institutes faculties. But, still, they are better than the private college faculties.

Thanks
