Electrical and Electronics Engineering deals with areas such as electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. It equips the students with knowledge in various areas like power electronics, control systems, signal processing etc.

This department along with the computer science and engineering department and the electronics and communication department started with the establishment of the institute.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12thclass examination or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class / Qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class / qualifying examination.

Admission is based through JEE Main Entrance Exam.
