  • Delhi Metropolitan Education society
  • BLS Institute of Technology
  • ICFAI Law school Hyderabad
  • MS Ramaiah college of law
  • Christ University Bangalore
  • IMS law college Noida

Hey.
The previous year cut off for admission in National law University, Mumbai was a rank of 503 for the general category. The cut off for admission in this colleges in the previous year 2017 was a rank of 478. Considering your score and the previous year trends you do not seem to have any chance for admission in NLU Mumbai if you belong to the general category. With this score  there is not much chance for amy of the NLUs as the last year cut off closed at a rank in the range of 1600.

Hence You can go for private colleges accepting CLAT scores for admission instead.
There are various Private Colleges that accept CLAT scores other than the National Law Universities. Here is a list of a few of them.

Jindal Global Law School, Sonepat
Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, Mumbai
NIRMA UNIVERSITY, Ahmedabad
ICFAI Law School, HyderabadSchool of Law, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam
Alliance School of Law, Bangalore
IFIM Law College, Bangalore
LLOYD Law College,Greater Noida
Amity University, U.P.
Asian Law College, Noida
Manipal University, Jaipur

With the rank you're mentioning I'm afraid you have less chances of getting into an NLU, even if you fall in SC category but you can definitely look out for other good colleges with pretty decent academics like

  • ICFAI Law school Hyderabad
  • MS Ramaiah college of law
  • Christ University Bangalore
  • IMS law college Noida
  • GITAM University
  • KLE society's law college

Eligibility
  • All candidates, other than those applying under the Foreign Nationals category, should appear for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and selection shall be solely on that basis.
  • In order to appear for the AILET, candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination and scored a minimum of 50%. However, candidates appearing for 10+2 examinations in the year of the AILET can also apply, provided they meet the above eligibility at the time of admission.

Hey Nimisha!

Congratulations on getting through. You see this year the cutoff is extremely on the higher side and seats are full in the first lists itself for even low ranking NLUs.
It is unlikely that there would much changes in seats as whoever has got the top NLUs would clinge to it without question. Only under some very tragic circumstances would someone renounce their seats.

Wait for the next lists and lets see what happens. Even if you dont get upgraded you have secured a place in a very good college and be assured that when you pass out you will have a great package and personality.

Have patience and hope for the best. Good Luck.

If it's your rank in SC category then I'm afraid you have less chances of getting into an NLU even with a state domicile. But you can check out other colleges out there like

  • IMS law college Noida
  • ICFAI Law school Hyderabad
  • MS Ramaiah college of law
  • Christ University Bangalore
  • KLE society's law college
  • GITAM University

Good luck

Chances of getting into an NLU with the rank you're mentioning, are very less that you'll get an NLU if you fall in general category. In the third list also no NLUs are going to breach their closing ranks.

But since you have a pretty decent rank so you can definitely look out for other good colleges like

  • VIPS
  • Ideal Institute of Management and Technology
  • Fairfield Institute of Management and Technology
  • Narsee Monjee University
  • KIIT Bhubaneswar
  • UPES Dehradun
  • Symbiosis law school

College Infrastructure

Our library and classrooms are brilliant. There is a lot of space available. Recently, our campus has become denser due to NCR reservations. Wi-Fi quality is down, but it is still good. The food is fine. Sports facilities are also improved gradually.

Best college life experience in the best college.
