I had done my graduation from netaji subhas open University through mrinalini dutta mahavidyapith . The university is open University so don't need to go everyday. Infrastructures are good. A big library available in our college.
Academic was good. Teachers provided good quality notes and it so helpful. They always help us to gain proper knowledge about my subject. I completed my graduation in public administration. Exam process always good. Only exam time I go to college to attend my exam.
They don't provide proper placement because it is a open University. If you want good job you need to do more skill which help you to grow in your career. This university didn't provide any kind of high salary package job. But they provide many courses which help you in your professional field.
Yes it is valuable for me . Because I was a working person that time . Open University help me to complete my course properly.
It was very nice.
College has all the facility as a part of working university should hold. Great opportunity to continue study for people who can't join a regular course or attend college at a regular basis. Facilities and staffs are also supportive.
As I'm a mathematics enthusiast, so I was pursuing my B.Sc maths honours along with diploma in mechanical engineering. Yes you read it right, I was pursuing two courses in same time. It can be done if one course is being pursued from open university.
As much I'm aware, there is no placement opportunity. You can get the course completion certificate and that's it from the college. As it's a branch of open university. We should not expect placement either.
It is an open University. This university offers opportunity for job holders to complete their study without any hampering of their respective jobs. I do not need to go to this university. But I only attend the classes provided by my respective study centre of NSOU.
This open University provides study books to its students via its respective study centres. The study centre co ordinator is very helpful. The students need to submit assignments before their year ending exams. It is mandatory
It is an open University, so it doesn't offer placement programs. But it offers many professional courses, learning which u can get job easily. The professional courses help you to enhance your skill.
The course fee is not much. It is bearable. Before each academic year's starting, you have to submit the course fee. When you will fill the exam form, you need to submit a meagre amount again. There is also a studenthip renewal fee.
Hello,
As per the status of the official website of Netaji Subhash Open University, no updates are provided yet regarding admission schedule of bachelor degree programs, nor is the official notification released either, hence stay updated at http://www.wbnsou.ac.in/ for the latest information regarding this.
Yeah! The degree will be treated as the normal one. For Government exams the eligibility mentions that 'passed from a recognized university'. So NSOU is registered and there will no problem regarding it but as you now to get a Government service you have to study hard to pass the exams.
You can get higher grade jobs in Government as per the exam you qualify. If you qualify UPSC you will be a 'Grade A gazetted officer' , if you crack CGL , you will be a 'Grade B or C Non- Gazetted officer' and so on.
In private sectors you may get editorial jobs or journalism career depending on the company you are opting for. It's entirely on the companies will , what you will get.
I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
