our college has less equipments and the instruments are mostly disable and the facilities are average our campus has wifi but it is password protected so we can't use it properly but mtech students can use it properly and in library we get a environment to read properly liviing spaces are clean and hygienic
I am studying btech in ece but I am interested in cs or it branch so I read mostly it subjects teaching quality are good but the teachers doesn't take classes regularly curriculum is not updated and the recent developments are not included in our syllabus but some developments are in the syllabus of IT students
Placements are very poor and no companies visit here max 10% students are placed but most of them in off campus and 5-6% through valid gate score highest salary package is 5 lpa our college is not supportive to placement shell but we have to create a chaos for this but nobody will listen to us
our fees are about 18000 per year our money is less so that our pressure is low and facilities are low but ig faculties must increase the facilities, equipments for us to forward our college into a big world of development, robotics and many more competitons
campus is greenery, hygienic, friendly, readable and there are a green nature environment in our campus students are engaged in development, robotics and ham radio students and teachers are supportive but staffs are not supportive even they also make us hopeless, they don't know anything and they show offs location is great and it is safe for reading and every students
everything is okay but I have to say that we need more faculties, more students, more facilities and subject oriented syllabus.teachers are good, some of them are ours friend. They are all time available to help us in any situation. The friends are good but the girls have bad choices so that they are suffering from a bad situation.Otherwise nature is good, library as well as labs are good.If anyone want to make read calmly and make new as well as good friends,he or she can choose this university
The department has the basic requirement facilities. Canteen itself and the food is not upto the mark. Labs are great there with all reqiured equipments, but the classes are not so great. The environment is all green, cleanliness however needs to be look after.
I am studying Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. Quality of teaching is more than average. The curriculum has been updated recently, but it still has subjects that will never be required in my future job.
Overall placements are good for beginners. Average lpa offered is somewhere around 3-6 lakhs per annum. Teachers and seniors and ex seniors will help out if reached. They are friendly. Maybe only 5 percent of students were offered the highest salary package.
Less than Rs. 20,000 per year. So i guess it's fair.
In university of Kalyani we have two separate buildings, one for office work and other for the laboratories purpose and another one is separated for theory classes. At our time of year 2008 only our office building is fully connected via wifi, and our full university has a separate central library which is very big and beautiful place of the university. The university has a total of four hostels, three for boys and one separate hostel only for girls. This all was during our batch of 2004 to 2008 .
During our batch of 2004-2008 Btech Information Technology all the teachers were very helpful and cooperative. They were very skilled and knowledgeable. They made us clear on every topic related to our course curriculum and others. The course curriculum is similar to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University, but our department is under the University of Kalyani so our university sets the question papers of all the examination. The course curriculum is as relevant as other universities pursuing B.Tech information Technology
During our batch of 2008 doing internship in a company was a great things at our time of studying in Kalyani University, from our department, some students got internships in popular companies like TCS, Wipro, and LG during that time of year 2008 which was a big thing for somebody to do an internship in TCS and Wipro like company, at our time that is 2008 I exactly do not remember the average salary package offered to the students that is why I can't tell you the exact figure but doing internship was a great thing at our time
Yes university of Kalyani is a great university be tension free if you are coming here for your studies
Campus life is good
Our department has good infrastructure . Our classrooms have all the facilities those are needed for a good educational environment. Our department has all the facilities like excellent laboratories infrastructure , great library experience, hostel facilities , WiFi facilities are available for us also .
I have a great experience about our department . The faculties are so much helpful and cooperative. They gave 100% efforts for their students . They are always available for us for any doubts . As a student of Kalyani University I have gained knowledge not only in academics also the other necessities.
Our department has a great learning environment but the placements is not as much as good . If placements will happen then i believe that our department will hold a great position . Already they are working on this problem . Within few years our department will give great placement opportunities for their students .
Many people don't know about the college because of less marketing. ROI of this college is very good for which one can prefer this college to other colleges present in the same league. Faculties are highly experienced. One can get good industry exposure by working in so many projects offered to the students.
As we all know university of kalyani is a popular institution so there is no doubt about quality of teaching. There is curriculum and includes all the recent developments in all field. No we should update skill management to makes student job ready.
There is not much opportunity in placement facility. Some of the student got placement but in a very low package. Yes my college is very supportive but lack of branding makes it poor section. Management should update their option s.
As we all know it is a government institution so fees of this college is very affordable. And there has some scholarship facilities for economic backward students . Yes I feel I am getting my money's worth.
Our college campus was good enough and justified. Students are engage in wall magazine, excursion and charity activities. Our teacher student support staff are very good and helpful. Location of college campus is in a good and safe location. But daily travel fair is high. And have doubt about handling emergencies.
Our college is overall ver good, environment of my college is also very ecofriendly. But we need more job opportunity in this college. Better placement can make better future for students.
