Hello Ritika,
Punjab University conducts the entrance test for the admission in bachelor's degree, the admission in pu is not based on the merit secured in the boards examination. So your admission depends upon the cut off marks of the entrance exam , if you meet the cut off of entrance then you will surely see your name in the merit list.
Good luck,
Hope it helps :)

Greetings,
So you cannot pursue a masters degree in engineering after doing a science degree as mentioned in your question.
If you have completed your bachelor's degree and are interested in engineering so much then you can either do b.tech by clearing and getting a good rank in jee mains and advance examination or you can take admission in a private college.
If you don't want to waste your time doing your bachelor all over again you can take some online course as per your interest level like if you are interested in iot and ml or web development or Android development you can get paid courses online and can mention those in your CV. They will be helpful if you want to pursue engineering for getting into a company.
