36 MonthsThe Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology is a 3 year program offered by the Faculty of Medicine's department of Paramedical and Health Sciences. Students who get to pursue this program get an exposure to the fundamental aspects of medical laboratory to shape their foundation in the field. The program utilises scientific methods for detecting, treating, curing and preventing human diseases and infection through laboratory tests. The laboratory technicians are professionals who are involved in conducting test procedures with the help of laboratory equipments whose results are recorded for medical purposes or breakthrough discoveries. The faculty is equipped with state of the art laboratories and facilities for research which serve the purpose of enhancing and shaping the practical understanding of the students. The students are imparted an all encompassing knowledge of body matters such as fluid, tissue, blood, etc which serves as a base knowledge while preparing solutions, collecting samples, examining cells, analyzing results and drawing conclusion graphs. Our expert teaching staff develop and shape within the students, vital skills which makes them capable of applying elementary as well as advanced knowledge in patient diagnosis and other practical skills which are necessary for their career.
Candidate shall have passed 10th Examination from a recognized board.
