Information gathering through organising and analysis of data sets provides a wide exposure to the functionality of numerous trends. Big Data and its concepts have been utilized for years to examine huge amounts of data to solve hidden patterns, correlations and other insights. The Faculty of IT and Computer Science offers a 2 year Masters of Computer Application in Big Data Analytics. The program is strategically designed to provide students with the advanced concepts of data collection, organising and analysis. In order to expose students to an in-depth practical exposure and research experience of this field, the department is equipped with state of the art computer facilities and laboratories which allow students to be engaged at a personal level and in the realtime processing of data. The program exposes students to complex systems and subjects such as data sciences, business analytics, machine learning, tableau and python amongst others. The program is also taken under the instruction of expert faculties and professors who go on to provide students with an in-depth understanding of how the industry works and functions, in preparation of various streams of careers.
Candidate shall have passed Graduation with minimum 50% for Open Category and 45% for Reserved Category from a recognized university
