BE Production and Industrial Engineering is a full-time four-year course offered by Panjab University, Chandigarh and Approved by AICTE

The strength of the department lies in the potential of the students, a commitment of the faculty and developed facilities in the area of machining, welding, casting, manufacturing, human engineering & assistive technology, total quality management, work design & ergonomics, production & operations management and value engineering.


Eligibility Criteria

The minimum academic qualification for admission is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 or its equivalent with at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks in case of S.C./S.T./PwD), conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council. The detailed 45 procedure and other requirements for admission are specified in the Admission Brochure brought out every year.

Admission Details

Admissions to the B.Tech. programmes are made once a year in July based on rank in JEE- (Main), conducted on an All India level by CBSE.
