60 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Education shall be for a minimum duration of two years, including course work and a maximum of five years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.

Eligibility Criteria
M.A./ M.Sc. in the concerned or allied subject from any UGC recognized University with at least 55% marks (50%for S.C./S.T) preceded by graduation with Honours in the concerned or allied subject.
