M.Tech Construction Technology and Management is a two-year full-time postgraduate course offered by Reva University, Bangalore. and approved by AICTE.

Construction Technology and management is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, and railways.

The modern day Construction Technology and management graduate should have wider knowledge of surveying grading design, drainage, pavement, water supply, sewer service, dams, electric and communications supply and preparations of construction plans. Construction Technology and management must possess technical knowledge of geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, environmental engineering, transportation engineering and construction engineering as applied to residential, commercial, and industrial and public works projects of all sizes and levels of construction. In addition, present day Construction Technology and management should be able to use Primavera and Virtual reality tools for design and visualization of complex civil engineering structures. If they possess knowledge of Artificial intelligence will be an added advantage for maintenance and monitoring of infrastructural projects.

Employment of Construction Technology and management is projected to grow in next ten years, faster than the average for all occupations. Government of India is investing on infrastructure development to rebuild, repair, and upgrade bridges, roads, levees, dams, airports, buildings, railways, metros and other structures.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have passed the BE/B.Tech. in Civil Engineering/Construction Technology with a minimum of 50% (45% in case of SC/ST) marks in aggregate of any recognized University/Institute or AMIE or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.

Admission Details

Admission is based on the GATE,  Karnataka PGCET, and other Entrance Examinations conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka or other recognized agencies are also considered.
