PlacementsPlacements are excellent in our college. TCS, Wipro, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Almost 80% of students got placed in our course. Around 80% of students got internships in our college. Highest salary package offered was around 8-10lakhs for year.

However, branch matters a lot and since you want core software roles, it has an impact on your opportunities.
But, if you are comfortable switching to CSE-related roles down the line (upskilling or internal branch change), then PES University's reputation and exposure can still provide opportunities in the future. At the end of the day, decide what is more important to you: branch vs brand.

yaa it's a University with like last year highest placement was 65 lpa, total placement offers:- 1500+, total internships:- 1,250+, participating companies: 350+, overall package 18 LPA, with a median around 12-13 LPA. So, all I can say like core branches get good placements and like overall it's a good University.

With 96 percentile in JEE Mains, it is quite tough to get a seat in the CSE core branch at PES University through JEE. PES gives more preference to PESSAT and KCET ranks.
The CSE branch is highly competitive, so chances through JEE Mains are very low. You can try through PESSAT or KCET for better chances.
