Sonia, due to Corona Pandemic, all the Educational Institutions have been closed. The entrance examinations have been postponed and the Country has been under Lockdown since March. The current lockdown period will end by May 17th. It is likely that the application forms will be released in the month of June, depending on the situation. Allahabad university gives admission in BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BFA & BPA programs, from  Entrance Exam (UGAT).

A merit list is prepared for the successful candidates on the basis of their marks in entrance.  Criteria for calculating marks is:

Total Calculated Marks= Test Score+ Special Benefit (if any)

If two or more students score same marks then their relative merit will be determined on the basis of

1. Marks obtained in the qualifying (10+2) or equivalent exam.
2. In case, the marks obtained by two students in 10+2 examination are equal then marks obtained by them in High School (10th) will be taken into account.

After that , final admission is given on the basis of counselling (Those who had a  valid rank in the merit list , are eligible for counselling process) .

The admission procedure for allahabad university has been postponed due to the covid 19 outbreak.

Allahabad university conducts UGAT exam for admission to various undergraduate courses. The syllabus for all the courses is not same foe UGAT. It is different for different course. It only offers B.sc courses in following specialization :

1. B.Sc. in Biology
2. B.Sc. in Computer Science
3. B.Sc. Home Science

Shubha, today MHA has extended the National Lockdown by 2 more weeks until May 17th. And so it is highly unlikely that the admit cards will be released until May 17th. And we need to wait for official information from these Universities regarding the new schedules. This also depends on the situation after May 17th. Right now, it has been also proven that Corona virus can be transmitted also through community. That outs any gathering in aggrevating the casualitY. So we need to wait to hear from the official websites. Please watch out for any official information.
