The computer-based entrance exam of UGAT and PGAT of Allahabad university will be conducted in different test centres at Prayagraj city. Along with Prayagraj, the entrance exam will also be held in nine Allahabad University 2020 exam centres.

• General Awareness:- 10 Questions

• Science Group:-120 questions ,If you have Maths stream then 120 questions will be from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics , in case if you are from Biology stream then 120 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Allahabad university gives admission in BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BFA & BPA programs, from  Entrance Exam (UGAT).

A merit list is prepared for the successful candidates on the basis of their marks in entrance.  Criteria for calculating marks is:

Total Calculated Marks= Test Score+ Special Benefit (if any)

If two or more students score same marks then their relative merit will be determined on the basis of

1. Marks obtained in the qualifying (10+2) or equivalent exam.
2. In case, the marks obtained by two students in 10+2 examination are equal then marks obtained by them in High School (10th) will be taken into account.

After that , final admission is given on the basis of counselling (Those who had a  valid rank in the merit list , are eligible for counselling process) .

The admission procedure for allahabad university has been postponed due to the covid 19 outbreak.

Allahabad university conducts UGAT exam for admission to various undergraduate courses. The syllabus for all the courses is not same foe UGAT. It is different for different course.
