With 144 marks in the entrance exam for M.Sc Physics in the allahabad university general category, you have good chances if getting admission in the main campus. The cutoff last year was about 86 marks and for this year it can be estimated to about 100+ for general category.

With 142 marks in the AU Maths(hons.), it would be unlikely you will be able to get main campus. Since the cutoff for general category is above 160 marks. Also there is no mention of EWS reservation or cutoff relaxations. You might be able to get some affiliated colleges.

According to the cutoff released by the university, with 168 marks you should be able to get B.A. arts in general category. For counselling dates are -
Allahabad University BA Counselling 2019 - June 23, June 24 , June 25, June 26, July 1 and July 2, 2019
You have to apply online for counselling and have to visit the main campus in allahabad to get admission there.

As you not mentioned your category here , I considered you from ur category . According to expected cut off , your chances of admission is rare . But you must wait for 2nd or 3rd round counciling sedhule . If you are form ur category , you also claim admission under ews quota . But admission chances are rare through ur category .

Allahbad University offers many Undergraduate and Postgraduate course in which one of these are Master of Science in Botany which is a 2 year course . This University is known for the lowest fee structure in any other university in Allahbad
The fee structure is as follow
First year - Rs. 1500
Second year - Rs. 1100
which makes a total of Rs. 2600

The infrastructure of university of allahabad is very beautiful and antique. It is called East of Oxford. The building was made in Britain era where construction was done by the government.As the university of allahabad is government based.
The infrastructure of University of Allahabad is very good. we have big campus one of the largest in the Allahabad city and Buildings are old but maintained very properly and I am very satisfied with it.
The infrastructure of University of Allahabad specially J.K. Institute of Applied Physics and Technology Department for Master of Science infrastructure is very good but yeah little old but overall, I would say good.
