allahabad university is oldest university in india . it provide all kind of courses to the student . the infrastructure is wonderful here. classroom environment is is upto the mark and they provide all kind of sports
i joined this college because quality of teaching is wonderful. and the professor gives all kind of reqiured lectures to the students. syllabus is moderate and exams are conducted on the time . so my suggestion is to good
it is central university so that placement is not upto the mark in the college but the every student got high skill knowledge the college. students who studies from this college they can easily improve thier career in life.
The infrastructure, I would say is really good, you would never get bored spending all of your day there but there are very few water taps. Talking about the classrooms, they are nice and spacious but the issue is they don't have ACs even, and since fans produce noise the professors switch them off too and it becomes really hard to survive in the summers. wifi is available, the lab equipments are very old they do not function properly. but yes the college is super clean.
I'm studying BSc maths, my subjects include Maths, Physics, and Statistics. the faculty is really good and helping also, I'm studying here because of the academic calendar I mean we get to give only one annual exam no exams in between so I can prepare for UPSC or any other competitive exam so ample of time is there to study. No what I study won't make me job ready cause it's not a professional course.
There are no such good records of placements here as they focus more on giving time to students and letting them prepare themselves for the competitive exams. Also, the college mostly provides general courses but you can think of getting up to 5LPA here.
Since it's a government college I just paid rs 4000 for my BSc program so the money is surely worth it. You'll get a government college degree which is actually very valuable.
No there is no such thing as campus life here because there are no societies, no clubs, nothing like that, they want you to focus only on your studies but since there is no attendance required you can enjoy otherwise with your friends.
It's a really good college if you can work on yourself on your own since you get ample time, you can gain any skill, prepare for any competitive exams etc, etc.
Good, the college is very good clean and environment is very nice. The infrastructure of a college plays a vital role in the development of the college as the students are now focusing on the labs, class rooms, etc while selecting a college. It is important that the colleges have very good infrastructure with advanced laboratories equipped with state of the art equipment etc.
Yes they are providing qualified studying they are making you ready for the future. Yes the curriculum is up to date they provide opportunities for different students Focus on learning as much as possible. In the real world (outside of Academia) no cares about your grades. OK maybe for your first job out of college someone will care what your grades were during the interview. After that most people wont even remember your major correctly.
Not good, as bachelor in commerce does not provide any kind of placement. The difficulty with placement is that we tend to look at the individual but not at the job. Often, the individual does not work independent of others. Whether the employee works independent of others or is dependent depends on the types of jobs. Every student get good placement well reputed and renowned companies, curriculum was excellent . College provide us intership for better future and experience.
4000 per year Yes my money is worth spending I love the family-like atmosphere that surrounds me.” “it's a lot better than being attacked by a pack of badgers.” “the College really cares about its members.” “it is a place of civility, friendship, and good cheer.”
During your first year of college you will be juggling many new experiences: new friends, new living situation, new activities, new classes and new teachers. While a lot of these new experiences are exciting, they can challenge your time-management skills and academic adjustment.
No
The colleges are equipped with proper seating facilities. The infrastructure of college is quite good. The entire campus is well equipped with 100 mbps Wi-Fi and all the labs are full air-conditioned.The library is one of the best central labrary of the college in our country. There are wide range of books are available in library. The Hostel is also good and mess is quite good ?. Medical facilities is top notch . There are separate areas for sports and games. Overall campus have political vibe .
Academic facilities are excellent. Professors are well qualified and experienced and having good teaching . Professors helps a lot to students in academic, clear concept and it is up to you that how you are connected to professors .Classes run regularly and seperate classes for both hindi and english medium students In Arts faculty.Amission through CUET and Jee mains entrance exam. BA , Bsc. Math, Bio , home science , Bcom , LLB ,BFA , BCA , Btech and all master and PhD courses are available .
The main recruiting companies here are Infosys and Wipro, so placements wise, our college was good. As I am from the computer science branch, I know about placements of that course only. In this academic year, a lot of seniors got placement offers in more than 2 companies, which is quite good for them. The average salary package is 6-7 lack per annum . One of b.tech of CSE branch students get package of 16 lack .for other branches package are quite low.
If your CUET score is low then prefer this institute otherwise good and prestigious colleges are available like Delhi University and Bhu. After these two institutes you can prefer allahabad university . Fee is very low than others institute . Value for money is worth it. BA and Bsc fee is 4000 annually. Afterall at less money you got gold opportunities.
Campus Life is excellent. Hostel are availables where Sir Sundar Lal and Diamond jubilee house are best among all. Study vibe is lallontop. Every thing is perfect here but one more thing that students passed 40% only ,main problem is many students comes from Hindi medium background and In B.sc you have to write exam in totally in English. Science faculty is best among all faculty. In arts faculty is Full of with poltics Vibes . Students leaders runs movement is normal there.
I took admission in Bsc computer science .Labs are excellent . Professor are helping nature.Campus vibe is excellent.A university which gives 3 prime minister of our country i.e. Allahabad University. Seniors and juniors have good connection .There are no extracurricular activities and the reason for this is the fact that they emphasise good attendance. The only thing that makes this college better than others is that the management tries to run classes as much as they can at all .
Infrastructure is nice , and enough facilities. And very big library, WiFi connection is available . Space is clean and food is hygiene and environment of campus is good for study and we'll maintained.
Study quality is very good , And graduated with computer science, I am ready for job . Quality of teaching is good and understandable . And teachers are supportive in learning everything and environment is also good.
Quality of placement is average. Average package offered 3 lakh per annum. And many courses providing high salary. College is supportive and process is easy for every student and here is special department for placement.
I payed 7000 per annum for bsc ( computer science) . And I feel that in very low price i got sufficient knowledge.
Campus has best feature and teachers is very supportive and helpful. it is safe for everyone either girls or women.
Very good college and teachers are very supportive and helpful. And must study here
The classes are good and regular lectures are taken. Most of the management classes have now projectors and smart board to teach students. The campus is clean with good quality food at reasonable rate in canteen.
I have completed b.com from the university of allahabad, Students have optional subjects too choose from to enhance there knowledge. There are other diploma and short term courses if someone wish to participate in.
Most of the students after completing graduation go for higher studies but those who want placements around 1.20lakhs-2lakhs per annum can be found in campus with some good companies, Placements are subjected to your overall records in the course you opt for and may vary.
The University in which Iam studying is one of the bestest University in India and the atmosphere of the University is good all the staff and teachers are very polite and good in nature they are helpful also and we have bIf classrooms and have many faculties inside the University and all the rooms including library and halls are well furnished and clean .
Iam studying Bachelor of Arts in office management, political science and english literature because I was an art student in my school and very much interested in n arts and Ialso wanted to do MBA in future so I choose office management as a subject so I can study about management and the quality of teaching is good they are very helpful and supportive and because of their contribution I got my first Job .I had worked for four months and Iam studying management so because of that also I got my j
I have not completed my graduation yet so I don't know much about the placements but placement is good here specially for MBA students because Allahabad University is bestest University in India so every year many students got placed by several companies ..
The fees is very less for those people who cracks the entrance exam and the entrance exam is very difficult so very few students get admission there and the one who got selected they have to pay very less amount of money comparing to other colleges.I feel that I am getting my money worth because of their contribution I got my job and I believe in future if I will go for MBA then I will got placed .
I have both bad and good experience for my campus. The best thing is that we have alot of games here like vollyball ,tabletennis , kabbadi and many more and I am also a Kabaddi player but the thing which is worst that they do discrimination between the students who are their favourite and those who are unknown to them because I had applied for NCC last year but instead of selecting the students who performed well in the test they selected the one who are their favourite and they didn't even perf
No I don't want to add anything because I think I have mentioned alot of Information about my college .
It has a different department for B.Tech given a separate identity- J. K. INSTITUTE OF APPLIED PHYSICS AND TECHNOLOGY..... It is a well built building just like BHU and University of Allahabad........
Professors and faculty members are well Qualified and Experienced....... Overall,Excellent Faculty...... Professors are supportive and there is no work load on students so that they can focus on their dreams......
It is average with DRDO, ISRO, NTPC, Hindustan Petroleum, Infosys and TCS as main recruiters..... The average Package is of 6 lakhs p.a. and Highest Package of 8 lakhs p.a. because majority recruiters are public sector based and We know that we do not have attractive packages there but a job security and satisfaction is Great......
Fees is very less with good Facilities...... Annual fees is 34,000/- in first year....but in the rest of the years the fees is just 20,000/- per year which is very less. The Hostel fees is 12,000/- per year and mess charges as 2,000/- per month......All Over..... Value for Money....
Hostels are new and well built.....
A good college to have.....If you want to make your career in PSUs or Government Sector or want to crack other Competitive Examinations......
Yes my college have all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment needed. My classroom have all the necessary things. My laboratories, libraries, sports centre and hostels all are well maintained
I pursuing masters in commerces because I want to enhance my knowledge in this subject. The quality of teaching is good enough.Yes my curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.
As I'm doing masters in commerces so for this my college doesn't provide any placement. So I can't say anything on this matter.Yes my college my teachers and my senior support and help us in every possible manner.
Even though it is a centrally administered University's Department the infrastructure, facilities and equipment are highly degraded. Wifi Campus Facilities are there but due to lot of paper work students do not prefer to opt this facility. The Department of Commerce does not have a proper canteen and students have to depend on street side snacks.
Everyone is well qualified but they do not have a knack for teaching, which is the biggest reason why students rush towards Coaching Institutes for better learning. And also there's a Communications gap between Students and Teachers
Placements are given mainly by the MBA department and Law Department. But as we've noticed that over the past decade there's a sheer decline in the placements because of students and a fall in their quality.
Being a Centrally administered University the Cost is very less. All I can say is that I'm spending ₹3000 rupees just to get a degree of my academics.
This is the only thing which I personally feel is a good thing in comparison to Other colleges. The Campus Life is good , you'll see a lot of diversity in the University of Allahabad.
If you’ve been struggling with SSC CGL exams, consider reassessing your strategy. Focus on improving your weak areas through consistent practice, mock tests, and time management. You can also explore alternative career options in the private sector or other government exams.
Allahabad University offers full-time BA LLB and LLB (Hons) programmes to students. According to the past year data, admission to the undergraduate programmes begin in the month of August through the online counselling. The Allahabad University begin the online registration for the Post Graduate Admission Test (PGAT) in the month of May. For the academic year 2025, the university might tentatively follow this timeline for both the UG and PG programmes admissions.
Hello,
No, failing in the Math subject in your 10th grade should not cause a direct problem during your MSc admission, especially if you have already completed your BSc.
Admissions for MSc programs generally focus on your performance at the undergraduate (BSc) level and your eligibility based on meeting the specific subject requirements for the MSc course you are applying for.
In the case of Allahabad University (or other institutions), the following factors are usually important for MSc admissions:
Eligibility Criteria for MSc Program : This typically includes having a relevant BSc degree (in a subject related to the MSc you are applying for) and achieving a certain percentage or grade point in your undergraduate course. The university's admission guidelines will focus more on your BSc performance rather than your 10th grade.
Subject Requirements : Some MSc programs may require you to have studied certain subjects during your BSc. If you are applying for an MSc in a subject related to math, they will likely check if you have sufficient knowledge from your BSc coursework. Your 10th-grade marks are not typically part of this assessment.
Entrance Exam : Many universities, including Allahabad University, conduct entrance exams for MSc admissions. Your 10th-grade Math result is not relevant for such entrance exams. Your preparation and performance in the entrance exam matter more.
In conclusion, your 10th-grade math failure should not pose an issue for your MSc admission if you meet the eligibility criteria through your BSc degree and perform well in the entrance process.
Hope it helps !
