University of Hyderabad offers MSc in Statistics - Operations Research, the eligibility criteria for which is passed BA/BSc Hons with Mathematics or Statistics securing 55% aggregate or  passed bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of optional subjects with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects.

The written test in objective type will have questions on Sets, Sequences, Series, Limits,Continuity, Differentiation, Integration, Graphs of Functions, Vector Spaces, Matrices,Determinants, Linear Transformations. Elementary Probability - Events, Independent Events,Conditional Events, Bayes’ Theorem, Chebyshev’s Inequality. Random Variables and their Distributions – Binomial, Poisson, Geometric, Negative Binomial, Uniform, Normal, Exponential, Gamma, Beta. Inference – Methods of Moments and ML Estimation, Test for Mean and Variance of the normal distribution, Contingency Tables, Simple Linear Regression. Linear Programming Problem- Graphical Solution.

University of Hyderabad offers MA Communication(Media Practice) and MA Communication(Media Studies) only for which the eligibility criteria is passed graduation in any stream from a recognized university securing 55% aggregate, there is entrance test conducted separately for each consisting of sections such as general knowledge, current affairs, media awareness, logical reasoning, English language and analytical skills followed by written test of 15 marks and personal interview of 25 marks, at ug level there is no course in Journalism or mass communication,check out at http://acad.uohyd.ac.in/couInt.html for more details regarding this.

It is better to study B.Tech in IIIT Sri City, Chittor, Andhra Pradesh than studing 5 years M.Tech from University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad, Telangana. It is because IIIT Sri City has better Placements than University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad.  It is better to study B.Tech and then later M.Tech than studing Dual degree because you'll have in-depth knowledge of the subject. Placements in IIIT Sri City, Andhra Pradesh for B.Tech students is 80 percentage. The highest salary offered is Rs. 21 Lakhs per annum and average salary offered is Rs. 6 Lakhs per annum. The Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has given clear instructions to principals of all colleges offering Intermediate courses (both general and vocational streams) not to allow admission in the second year for students who have studied first year in Telangana .

Btech IIIT is better than Mtech 5 years.Studying in IIIT is always better than studying in other universities.Normal graduation is sometimes better than Integrated courses.Placements are better in IIIT and also by renowned companies like Wipro,Capegmini,IBM etc.The average salary is 7 LPA.

The registrations for University of Hyderabad 2021 entrance examination for admission to 5 year integrated courses and post graduate courses are not yet started for the academic year 2021-22. The application process was supposed to start in the first week of April, 2021 but it is being delayed. You can apply for the admission once the application window is opened.
